Premium, brand-agnostic club fitting company finds new space in one of Southern California’s most picturesque golf destinations
PALM SPRINGS, California — True Spec Golf, the global leader in custom club fitting and club building, is pleased to announce that they have partnered with Indian Wells Golf Resort, a world-class public golf, vacation, culinary and events destination.
Located less than nine miles from True Spec’s original location in Palm Desert, True Spec Palm Springs-Indian Wells is the latest undertaking in a series of partnerships that brings True Spec’s bespoke fittings and best-in-class customer service to prominent venues around the country.
True Spec Palm Springs-Indian Wells is now open for bookings with fittings beginning on the day of the location’s grand opening, Dec. 1.
The premium facility is home to one of True Spec’s signature state-of-the-art outdoor fitting containers and converts to an indoor bay during the winter. It utilizes the industry’s first quadroscopic launch monitor, Foresight GCQuad. True Spec’s brand-agnostic club fitting matrix has more than 70,000 club head and shaft combinations from every major equipment manufacturer, which enables True Spec’s master club fitters to find the best equipment to improve a player’s game. Each club will be custom built at True Spec’s Scottsdale headquarters to the exact specifications derived from the club fitting process.

Indian Wells Golf Resort features two 18-hole golf courses – the Clive Clark-designed Celebrity Course and the John Fought-designed Players Course – located in the Greater Palm Springs area just minutes away from the Palm Springs International Airport. The Players Course will reopen to play in early December following comprehensive renovation led by Fought. It has a magnificent 53,000 square-foot clubhouse and is one of the few properties to have two courses ranked in the Top 25 “Best Municipal Courses in the United States” by Golfweek Magazine.
