Nominations for the 2024 Class of the Texas Golf Hall of Fame are now open. The public is urged to nominate qualified individuals before the deadline on Feb. 21.

Following the nomination deadline, the list of nominees will be screened by the induction nominating committee to be sure they meet the eligibility requirements of the specific category for which they were nominated. There shall be no more than eight total nominees per category per induction year. Not all public nominations are guaranteed a place on the official ballot.

Nominations for individuals and courses can be made in six categories: Amateur Player, Golf Professional/Teacher, Lifetime Achievement, Professional Services (new in 2024), Professional Player, and the Texas Registry of Historic Golf Courses. This will be the Texas Golf Hall of Fame’s 30th class to be inducted since the Hall’s inception in 1978.

You can find additional information about the nomination process, categories and requirements for nomination, and nomination form by visiting the 2024 Texas Golf Hall of Fame Nominations.

The 2024 class will be announced in May and inducted in October in Houston. Tickets to the event will be made available to the public.

The class of 2022 included Ryan Palmer, Ronny Glanton, Gordon Johnson, Brad Elder, Barney Adams, and Houston Country Club. In addition, the Texas Golf Hall of Hall of Fame recently launched its Digital Museum to celebrate and capture our members and Texas golf history and we encourage you to check out the 35 members captured to date.
