New era of golf entertainment arrives in Wichita, combining premium technology with food, fun, and social connection

JACKSONVILLE, Florida — Power Tee, a leading provider of automated driving range technology, today announced the installation of 36 Power Tee bays featuring its next-generation Smart In-Bay Dispensers at MMTH Clubhouse (pronounced Mammoth) in Wichita, Kansas.

The project marks the first large-scale commercial deployment of Power Tee’s new Smart In-Bay Dispenser technology, introducing a new level of automation, operational efficiency, and in-bay revenue generation to the golf entertainment experience.

MMTH Clubhouse, located on Wichita’s east side, is the newest golf-centric entertainment concept from the team behind MMTH Fieldhouse. The venue combines premium golf bays, Pure Putt mini golf, dining, and social entertainment in an elevated setting designed for everything from casual outings and date nights to birthday parties, corporate events, and team-building activities.

The installation represents a significant milestone for Power Tee as the company expands its technology beyond automated ball teeing to deliver a more fully connected and automated experience for both golfers and facility operators.

“We’re extremely proud of what our team accomplished at MMTH Clubhouse,” said Martin Wyeth, Founder and CEO of Power Tee. “This project represents an important step forward for Power Tee. We’re not only deploying our patented auto-tee technology at scale, but introducing an entirely new platform that can transform how golf entertainment venues manage their bays, support their customers, and generate revenue.

“The scale of this installation gives us an exceptional opportunity to demonstrate what this technology can do.”

Introducing the Power Tee Smart In-Bay Dispenser

At the center of the new installation is Power Tee’s Smart In-Bay Dispenser, which represents a significant advancement in the company’s product portfolio.

Each dispenser can hold approximately 2,000 golf balls, eliminating the need for frequent manual ball replenishment and helping operators maintain a consistent, ready-to-play experience throughout the day.

The Smart In-Bay Dispenser incorporates several technologies designed to improve both operational performance and the guest experience, including:

  • • Approximately 2,000-ball capacity per bay, significantly reducing the frequency of manual ball replenishment.
  • • AI-powered monitoring and diagnostics designed to proactively identify potential service needs.
  • • Remote diagnostics and system management, allowing support teams to identify and address issues more quickly while reducing potential downtime.
  • • Fault-tolerant architecture engineered to maximize system uptime and deliver a more reliable customer experience.
  • • Integrated point-of-sale capabilities, allowing guests to purchase golf balls directly from their bay.
  • • An interactive touchscreen display that creates new opportunities for digital advertising, promotions, sponsorships, customer engagement, and other high-margin revenue streams.
  • • Together, these capabilities are designed to give operators greater control over their facilities while allowing guests to spend more time playing and less time waiting.

Built for the Future of Golf Entertainment

MMTH Clubhouse was created around the idea that golf can be more than a traditional sporting activity—it can be a social and entertainment experience.

“People don’t just want to go out,” said Jason Farrant, President of MMTH Clubhouse. “They want to feel something—the thrill of a well-struck shot, the rush of competing with people you actually like, a meal worth talking about. A night worth remembering. That’swhy we built Clubhouse. And we built it for Wichita.”

The Power Tee installation supports that vision by making the golf experience more accessible, engaging, and convenient while giving the venue technology designed to support high-volume entertainment operations.

The strategic importance of the project extends beyond the Wichita location. The ownership group behind MMTH Clubhouse operates more entertainment venues and approximately 100 country clubs throughout the United States, creating significant potential for PowerTee to demonstrate the performance, reliability, and scalability of its newest technology across a broader portfolio.

“This is exactly the type of partnership we envisioned when developing the Smart In-Bay Dispenser,” added Wyeth. “Mammoth gives us the opportunity to prove the technology in a demanding commercial environment and showcase how it can scale across different types of golf and entertainment properties.

“We believe what we’re introducing here can have a meaningful impact on the future of golf entertainment.”

MMTH Clubhouse is now open for walk-ins, reservations, and private events, including full-venue buyouts.
