Golf technology company provides rangefinders and GPS speakers to talented junior golfers and one high school program through nonprofit scholarship initiative

ORLANDO, Florida   — The Breakthrough Golf Alliance has announced a new sponsorship partnership with MILESEEY GOLF, with the golf technology company donating products to support the organization’s 2026 scholarship recipients.

The partnership will provide MILESEEY GOLF technology to four individual Breakthrough Golf Alliance scholarship recipients — Ava Saavedra, Brevin Bennett, Luz Melendez-Gonzalez and Keishlyan Vega — as well as the Winter Park Boys Golf Team, one of Florida’s premier high school golf programs.

Each individual scholarship recipient will receive a MILESEEY IONME2 Golf Rangefinder and a GeneSonic Pro GPS Speaker as part of a welcome care package designed to help these young players prepare for their competitive seasons.

The Winter Park Boys Golf Team will also receive a shared team package that includes IONME2 rangefinders, GeneSonic Pro GPS speakers and PF260 Tour rangefinders for use during its upcoming season.

The Breakthrough Golf Alliance, which evolved from the Little Linksters Association for Junior Golf Development, focuses on assisting talented golfers ages 13 and older who have demonstrated exceptional promise but may lack the financial resources needed to compete, travel and showcase their abilities at higher levels.

The organization officially became The Breakthrough Golf Alliance in 2025 as part of a refined mission centered on removing financial barriers for competitive junior golfers.

“MILESEEY GOLF stepping up for these kids means a great deal,” said Brendon Elliott, PGA, founder of the Breakthrough Golf Alliance. “Junior golf at a high level is expensive, and every bit of support matters. But this partnership is about more than equipment. It is about helping these young players feel seen, supported and believed in. When a company like MILESEEY invests in them, it sends a message that their hard work and dreams matter.”

MILESEEY GOLF’s product donation aligns with the company’s broader commitment to precision, innovation and confidence on the golf course. The IONME2 is a compact golf laser rangefinder featuring Ball-to-Pin technology, 500-yard flag-lock capability, rain and fog mode and IP65 protection.

The GeneSonic Pro combines a golf speaker with a detachable GPS handheld, offering a 3-inch color touchscreen, built-in GPS, 43,000-plus course views, audible yardage callouts, 40W sound and no required phone connection or subscription fee. The PF260 Tour rangefinder includes fast flag-lock capability, vibration confirmation and slope compensation for practice and everyday play.

The 2026 Breakthrough Golf Alliance scholarship class represents a wide range of backgrounds and ambitions. Saavedra is a two-time Caribbean Amateur Junior Golf Championship winner, Puerto Rico Junior National Team member and aspiring golf broadcaster who runs “Ava Talks Golf.” Bennett, a 14-year-old from Norwich, N.Y., is a two-time Section 4 Class B champion and one of the top young players in his region.

Melendez-Gonzalez, from Riverview, Fla., won her 2025 high school district tournament and is known for her short game and bilingual abilities. Vega, from Puerto Rico, is a two-time Puerto Rico High School Golf League champion and two-time Puerto Rico Junior Tour Player of the Year with dreams of winning Puerto Rico’s first Olympic medal in golf.

The Winter Park Boys Golf Team, led by head coach Rob Robison, has established itself as one of Florida’s strongest high school programs, with 31 team event wins in the last decade, a 2018 state championship, runner-up finishes in 2019 and 2020 and 14 student-athletes sent on to play college golf.

“Supporting the next generation of golfers fits perfectly with MILESEEY GOLF’s vision,” said Michael Zhao of MILESEEY GOLF. “We are excited to support the Breakthrough Golf Alliance scholarship recipients and help provide technology that can make a real difference in their practice, preparation and confidence on the course.”

The individual recipient packages are expected to be used immediately as players continue their 2026 competitive schedules. The Winter Park Boys Golf Team products will be distributed closer to the start of the team’s high school season in August.
