LINCOLN, Nebraska – Golf course developer and construction company Landscapes Unlimited has completed a major golf course renovation project at the private Red Rocks Country Club in Morrison, Colorado, 25 minutes southwest of Denver.

Closely collaborating with Kevin Atkinson of Atkinson Design Group, Landscapes Unlimited led the rebuild of greens, tee boxes and bunkers throughout the 6,800-yard championship golf course.  Landscapes Unlimited also oversaw grassing, irrigation and cart path work.

The project is a key component of a multi-phase enhancements program within the club’s master plan.

A new creation to Red Rock’s exceptional short-game area is a new, 45,000-square foot putting green near the clubhouse.  This “19th hole” is designed for golfers to settle bets and extend enjoyment of their golf experiences.

“Collaborating with Kevin and Red Rocks’ team to reimagine the course layout, construction and infrastructure resulted in a stout golf experience for members and guests,” says Dave Linngren, Vice President-West Region of Landscapes Unlimited.  “Each hole requires strategic management but is neither designed nor constructed to unfairly bite golfers.”

“Working with Landscapes Unlimited is professionalism at its finest,” says Ron Rottman, General Manager of Red Rocks Country Club.  “Its team offers cogent suggestions and tunes in its listening ears when it comes to client, member and guest desires.”

Updates to the course is already receiving rave reviews from the club’s ladies’ and men’s golf associations, over-50 Hilltoppers Association, junior golfers, ladies golf 101 clinic participants and interclub teams.

Anchored by majestic views of Denver and the Front Range, Red Rocks is much more than golf for outdoor lovers.  Family-friendly, resort-lifestyle amenities include a private lake for fishing, heated pool, 800 acres of open space and hiking-walking trails.

The 24,000 square foot clubhouse with a large ballroom, theater-style meeting room, patio overlooking the golf course and outdoor pavilion hosts a bevy of special events.  Award-winning gourmet, casual and al fresco dining is open year-round.
