PHOENIX, Arizona – Golf It Forward is a foundation dedicated to celebrating the vision and indomitable spirit of the LPGA Founders. These 13 trailblazing women laid the foundational framework for women in golf.

Part of the mission of the foundation is a steadfast commitment to nurturing emerging talent and cultivating future leaders.

Annually, Golf It Forward awards $5,000 grants to 25 high school senior females. These young women are referred to as Pearls. Along with the scholarship, these young women are presented with opportunities to advance.

r acquire new skills to help prepare them for life in and beyond school.

Golf It Forward Pearl recipients were recently offered an opportunity queued up by the ANNIKA Foundation to attend a virtual session on transitioning from high school to college golf.

“We saw a terrific event, hosted by the ANNIKA Foundation, where our scholarship recipients, known as Marilynn Smith Pearls, could participate in a virtual session on making the crucial transition from high school to college golf.

“The ANNIKA foundation provided them the necessary access to attend,” said Pete Goebel, Golf It Forward Board Member. “Enriching the lives of these young ladies, offering thoughtful and practical sessions for our Pearls is a high priority for our foundation,” Pete added.

“We are truly grateful to them for leveraging the resources of the Annika Foundation to complete this objective.”
