BALTIMORE, Maryland — Five Iron Golf, the global leader in indoor golf, entertainment, and events, today announced the grand reopening of its Baltimore Harbor East location following a full-scale renovation that enhances its technology, design, and hospitality.

Originally opened in 2019 as one of Five Iron’s earliest locations, the refreshed venue now delivers an elevated experience that blends tour-level golf technology with vibrant social spaces, bold art, and expanded entertainment options — cementing its reputation as a go-to destination for golfers and non-golfers alike.

Renovation Highlights

  • All-New Trackman Technology: Eight bays with Trackman iO and three with Trackman 4, each enhanced with multi-angle cameras, upgraded seating, and flexible play for both right- and left-handed golfers.
  • Expanded Entertainment: A new lounge and dining area designed for after-work gatherings, happy hours, and events, alongside shuffleboard and darts in the mezzanine for a true 19th-hole vibe.
  • Multi-Sport Simulators: Interactive games like soccer, dodgeball, and carnival-style contests make the bays as fun for families and parties as they are for corporate outings.
  • Bold Interior Transformation: A complete design facelift with refreshed street art by Blindfox, vibrant neon installations, and Five Iron’s signature blend of urban grit and hospitality-forward style.

Female-Led Team at the Helm

The Baltimore location is led by General Manager Katie Mid, a lifelong golfer and seasoned instructor who has grown with Five Iron since 2021. With decades of teaching experience and a passion for building community through the game, Katie now oversees the newly renovated space with a vision for both golfers and non-golfers to feel at home. She is joined by Jascy Jones, who brings 15 years of hospitality expertise and deep local roots in Baltimore.

“We’re excited to reopen our doors and reintroduce Five Iron Golf to Baltimore in a bigger and better way,” said Katie Mid, General Manager. “This renovation is about more than technology — it’s about creating a space where people come together to play, connect, and feel at home.”

Looking Ahead: Programs, Events, and Offers

  • Junior Clinics (Launching October): A structured series designed to introduce kids to golf in a fun, inclusive, and confidence-building environment. Led by Five Iron’s professional instructors, clinics will focus on fundamentals like grip, stance, and swing, while keeping sessions engaging with games and group activities. The goal is to help kids fall in love with the game while building lifelong skills.
  • Fall League (Starting September 15): A social yet competitive season where golfers of all levels play weekly rounds on world-famous virtual courses. Players compete for prizes, enjoy drink specials, and connect with fellow golf enthusiasts in a lively atmosphere. With handicaps in place, both beginners and seasoned players can take part, making leagues a cornerstone of Five Iron’s community culture.
  • Holiday Parties & Private Events: From milestone birthdays and bachelor/bachelorette parties to corporate gatherings, Five Iron Baltimore offers a versatile event space with AV capabilities, fresh entertainment options (including multi-sport simulators, shuffleboard, and darts), and elevated food and drink menus. Perfect for groups of all sizes, the venue combines play, dining, and hospitality into unforgettable celebrations.
  • Happy Hour specials for after-work and late-night groups looking to eat, drink, and play in a lively sports bar setting.
  • Membership offers for dedicated players looking to sharpen their skills with daily access, exclusive perks, and community-driven events.
