Since 2021, APGA program members have made 23 PGA TOUR starts, including two major championship appearances.
LOS ANGELES – Five of the top players on the APGA Tour have been selected as participants in the APGA World Wide Technology Player Development Program for the 2026 season.
The APGA World Wide Technology Player Development Program is a comprehensive initiative designed to nurture and elevate top APGA performers on and off the course. Through elite coaching, customized club fittings, fitness evaluations, mentorship and new professional development sessions, the program equips players with the tools they need to reach the highest levels of the game.
Founded in 2010, the Advocates Professional Golf Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring an inclusive future through the game of golf.
Participants in the APGA World Wide Technology Player Development Program this season include:
  • John Baptiste Hakizimana – 2025 Jefferson Health APGA Classic winner; Runner up in the 2024 Farmers Insurance Invitational
  • Kci Lindskog – Second year on the APGA; As a rookie in 2025, secured top-five finishes at the APGA Two-Man Classic and the Farmers Fall Series Finale
  • Gregory Odom, Jr. – 2024 Mastercard APGA Tour Championship winner; 2024 Cisco Invitational Pebble Beach winner
  • Troy Taylor II – Overall champion of the 2024 Farmers Insurance Fall Series; Six top 10 finishes in nine starts in 2024, including his first professional win
  • Jonathan Yoshihiro – 2025 Mastercard Tour Championship winner; Three top-five finishes during the 2025 APGA Tour season
“The resources provided through the APGA World Wide Technology Player Development Program have been incredibly important in helping some of our top young players on the APGA Tour make the most of their talents and advance their careers in professional golf,” said Solomon Hughes, the APGA’s Chief Operating Officer. “The support provided by World Wide Technology makes this program possible, and we are extremely appreciative of their partnership.”
The APGA Foundation allocates more than $300,000 to support the Player Development Program. Each of the players in the program receives a launch monitor, a golf course membership, golf instruction, mental coaching, mentorship, fees for Monday qualifiers into Korn Ferry Tour and PGA TOUR events as well as oversight and accountability from the APGA’s Director of Player Development.
The players who participated in the APGA World Wide Technology Player Development Program last year produced plenty of highlights during the 2025 season. Those players totaled three tournament victories on the APGA Tour, while Chase Johnson qualified for the U.S. Open, Kevin Hall earned a silver medal representing Team USA at the Deaflympics and two members of the program advanced to the second stage of PGA TOUR Q School.
Since 2021, APGA players who have been members of the APGA World Wide Technology Player Development Program have made 23 PGA TOUR starts, including two major championship appearances.
“We are pleased to continue our sponsorship of the APGA Player Development initiatives, which provide opportunities and reflect the commitment and values of WWT, the PGA TOUR and the APGA Tour,” said Matt Horner, Executive Vice President at WWT. “These initiatives are expected to positively influence individuals and communities both presently and in the future. We extend our congratulationsto these outstanding golfers.”
