TPC Jasna Polana is a stunning American legacy property. The 46,000 sq. ft. golf clubhouse was originally constructed as a private residence for Barbara Piasecka Johnson and J. Seward Johnson Sr., a Johnson & Johnson heir, in 1975.

The unique, European-style mansion, which took four years to build, was designed by renowned architect Wallace Harrison, who also created Rockefeller Center, Lincoln Center, and the United Nations Headquarters.
No expense was spared, as the mansion was designed to accommodate the famed Piasecka-Johnson art collection. At the time of its construction, it was one of America’s most expensive private residences. Jasna Polana, (pronounced “YAZ-na Pol AH-na”), a Polish phrase that translates to “bright meadow,” is now a 222-acre, upscale private golf club mansion.
“When somebody drives in there to that golf club, they are blown away immediately,” Player describes in the film. “It’s hard to find better in the world.”
The club is a member of the Concert Golf Partners’ collection of premier private clubs. TPC Jasna Polana features a stunning 18-hole golf course designed by Player. In the documentary created by Up River Film Company, Player further tells the tale of how he created the golf course, as well as the unique history that defines the club.
“Have you ever seen anything like this before?” Player rhetorically asks. “You just go into another mode. It does something to your soul when you go to Jasna Polana. It does something to your soul.”
