VA Composites Launches the SYNYSTR HL. Higher Launch, Lower Spin

PINEHURST, NC – VA Composites, Inc., a global leader in premium golf shaft technology, today announced the release of SYNYSTR High Launch, the newest member of the SYNYSTR family. 

Built on the same high-modulus construction and progressive bend philosophy that made the original SYNYSTR a favorite of high-swing-speed players, SYNYSTR High Launch re-profiles that platform for flight — delivering effortless height and carry without giving up the stability and control the SYNYSTR name is known for.

The original SYNYSTR is a tip-stiff, low-to-mid launch design engineered for players who generate their own launch and need a shaft that holds its line. SYNYSTR High Launch answers a different question: what about the player with a strong, aggressive swing who still fights a low, weak ball flight? 

A smoother transition and a more active tip section load the head harder through impact, raising launch and optimizing spin for players chasing more carry — while a mid-to-high bend point and tightly controlled torque keep dispersion tight and the ball on line in the wind.

SYNYSTR High Launch is available in driver and fairway profiles across 55, 65, and 75-gram weight classes in A, R, S, and X flexes, with torque ranging from 3.6° to 4.5° across the lineup. 

All wood profiles feature a .335″ tip, 46″ raw length, and 3″ tip parallel section for maximum builder flexibility. 

The line also includes SYNYSTR High Launch Hybrid shafts in 85-gram R and S flexes, featuring a .370″ tip, 42″ raw length, and torque as low as 3.1° — bringing the same high-launch, low-bend-point DNA to the long-game clubs where players need it most.
