SCOTTSDALE, Arizona (May 3, 2021) – The regional qualifying schedule for the 2021 Troon Challenge sponsored by Callaway Golf is set. From May through October regional qualifying events will be held at 38 facilities in 13 different states. Two-person teams in both Net and Gross Divisions will compete to qualify for spots in the Troon Challenge National Finals.

The National Finals will be held in Arizona with dates and location announced at a later date. Now in its 19th year, the Troon Challenge is Troon’s largest amateur golf event, attracting more than 1,600 golfers annually competing in regional qualifying events across the United States.

Golfers will compete in a Modified 2-Person Best Ball format. Entry fees for regional qualifiers vary by course, but the cost of all qualifying events includes green fee, cart, practice balls, a Callaway cooler, Callaway golf balls, an official AHEAD Troon Challenge hat, on-course contests, live scoring powered by Golf Genius and event prizes.

“We are thrilled to begin our 19th year of the Troon Challenge and regional qualifiers at clubs across the country,” said Kris Strauss, senior vice president, sales and marketing, Troon.

“With the recent boom in golf, we expect the 2021 edition to be bigger and better than ever. We’ve added more qualifying sites across more states, with a chance to compete in our National Finals. The goal of the 2021 Troon Challenge remains the same as 19 years ago, to provide a fun, competitive, well-run golf event for amateur golfers from our Troon-managed facilities.”

The 2021 Troon Challenge is sponsored by Callaway Golf, along with supporting partners, AHEAD, Synchronicity, Phat Scooters, Pepsi and Avis with scoring powered by Golf Genius.
