Phase 1 of private refuge opens to members
LOS CABOS, Mexico – The first phase of the new Beach Club at Quivira Los Cabos—located next to the Quivira Golf Clubhouse and the acclaimed Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course within the Quivira Los Cabos residential complex—was unveiled during the annual Quivira Fest event on Nov. 16.
The $6.2 million Beach Club was greeted by more than 500 guests, including real estate agents, owners of residential developments, members, and media. The Beach Club, with a capacity of 110 people, has been designed as an exclusive amenity for residents of Quivira Los Cabos and their guests.
The unique outdoor environment offers a large swimming pool, a terrace on the edge of the beach, bathrooms with showers and dressing rooms, a fully equipped gym, green areas for special events, and a one-of-a-kind sailboat-shaped cinema where movies are projected on an awning on one of its sails.
The restaurant-bar La Concha—its design inspired by the shells of the olive ridley turtles that come to the nearby beach to lay their eggs—faces the sea as does the poolside lounge area. The menu is available in both areas and includes ceviche, salads, snacks, refreshing drinks, and cocktails.
Ernesto Coppel, Founder of Quivira Los Cabos and Pueblo Bonito Golf & Spa Resorts, officially opened the club by saying, “The unique and differentiated residential offerings that we have created are part of our Quivira Los Cabos signature brand. Each community has different characteristics, but all offer privacy, exclusivity, lifestyle amenities, and quality of service.”
While celebrating the Beach Club’s opening, it also was announced that some of the local residential developments are complete, including Copala, Alvar, Coronado, and Mavila. New real estate projects are in the planning and construction phases, including Old Lighthouse Club and The Residences at The St. Regis Los Cabos.
