SCOTTSDALE, Arizona – Synergy Group Consulting is providing its services to Richardson-Danner Golf Course Architects as they design a new Golf-Entertainment center for the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians.

The new development is planned on 34-acres of land south of the tribe’s Red Hawk Casino and will include a nine-hole Par 3 short course along with a driving range and putt-putt course.

Synergy Group’s role is to deliver the best solution for the driving range experience.

“Taking the lead from Forrest Richardson and Jeff Danner, we are focused on bringing the “entertainment” elements to the range and creating a venue that will generate excitement and a positive return-on-investment,” states Ted Simons, Founder of Synergy Group Consulting.

“We will create family fun and entertainment for the Shingle Springs tribal community,” said Jeff. “With a focus on golf and outdoor spaces, it will not only serve those visiting and travelling along US Route 50 between Lake Tahoe and Sacramento, but residents throughout El Dorado Hills County.”

Forrest added, “We’re no longer designing just for the game we grew up playing, but for a whole new generation of golfers – many who simply want to have fun as opposed to keeping score. Today’s golf facility is more interactive than any of us could have ever envisioned.”

“Designing the hitting bays and their size and configuration are just the start of Synergy’s input for the range facility. Additional aspects include vetting preferred vendors and recommending pricing strategies, programs, and group activities. The “performance” element is also taken into consideration for players that want to work on their game. The technology deployed will provide real-time accurate club and data. Patrons will be able to take advantage of instruction programs and club fittings at the same facility.”

Other firms contributing to the design and sustainability of the project include the community planning company, Swaback Architects & Planners; the National Golf Foundation, who will be responsible for golf marketing; and PutTek for the miniature golf concept.

Planning will be completed during 2022 with the aim to break ground in 2023.
