Awesome Golf has strengthened its portfolio of real-world courses with the addition of one of England’s most historic golf courses, Sunningdale Heath. This will be the very first time Sunningdale Heath has been available to play on simulator golf.
This exclusive opportunity developed when Founder Gavin Hamer’s son—whose passion for golf helped inspire the business—began being coached Tom Reid, co-owner of Sunningdale Heath and a three-time U.S. Kids Golf Top 50 Coach. This resulted in an in-person Awesome Golf event at which junior members were invited to experience the software at the club.
The Surrey venue, designed by Harry Colt and voted the Short Course of the Year in 2024, is famous for its strategic layout and heathland setting. The par 58 layout has no par 5s, featuring a mixture of par 3s and par 4s across its 18-holes that reward precision and smart short-play.
The development team has worked hard to maintain Sunningdale Heath’s unique character and beauty to deliver a real and authentic challenge for golfers across the world looking for a refreshingly different experience.

Sunningdale Heath has also welcomed the partnership as an opportunity to showcase the club to a global audience including its Junior Academy, which is widely regarded as one of the best in the country, recognised for its progressive approach to coaching and player development.
