CALIFORNIA – Square Golf, the brand-new camera-based launch monitor/sim from the creators of the award-winning putting simulator ExPutt, has shaken the golf launch monitor category with its revolutionary no subscription fees, pay-as-you-play model, freeing golfers from the commitment of monthly or yearly payments—even when the launch monitor isn’t in use.
With Square Golf’s model, golfers can play 55 rounds of golf straight out of the box thanks to the free welcome credits. Additionally, once these credits have been used, another 55 rounds of golf are available to purchase in-app for only $20, equal to .36c per round.
And, in response to customer demand, Square Golf now allows third-party integration with the popular E6 Connect. This integration enhances its already outstanding simulator experience, providing golfers with alternative ways to play.
“We gathered feedback from our current Square Golf owners and contacts in the industry that they loved our product and how different it is to other launch monitors on the market” said Jinyoung Yang, CEO.
“They asked for third party integration as they truly believe it would be the best launch monitor offering at this price point by having these options available.”
Golficity, who tested the $699 launch monitor against the Foresight GC3, found the device to be extremely accurate on multiple data points, including carry distance, spin rate, side spin, and launch angle.
Square Golf utilizes a high-speed 3D camera system to deliver detailed feedback on 18 different ball and club data points, such as ball speed, spin rate, and launch angle.
The company has leveraged its expertise to provide precise putting data for Square Golf, covering ball speed, direction, and total distance. This comprehensive data enables golfers to practice putting and play seamlessly from tee to pin.
