Golf’s most influential female voice takes a Front Office role in the world’s first high-stakes par-3 golf league.

TEMPE, Arizona — The Grass League, the world’s first high-stakes par-3 golf league, proudly announces that media mogul and golf icon Paige Spiranac is joining its Front Office in a strategic leadership role.

A trailblazer in both professional golf and modern sports media, Spiranac will work closely with league leadership to shape the long-term vision and growth strategy for The Grass League.

Her role will encompass brand development, storytelling, creative, business development and overall content and audience strategy, positioning the league to scale it’s reach across digital, broadcast, and live experiences.

As one of the most recognizable and influential figures in golf, with over 11 million social followers, Spiranac brings a unique perspective rooted in both competitive experience and media innovation. A former Division I collegiate golfer at both the University of Arizona and San Diego State University, Spiranac went on to compete professionally before pioneering a new path in digital golf media.

She currently serves on the PGA Tour’s Creator Council and is a tireless advocate for growing the game through more inclusive, innovative, entertaining formats.

“The Grass League is breaking boundaries and pushing golf into an exciting new era. I’m thrilled to join the Front Office and help shape not only how the league looks and feels but how it connects with fans and grows the game,” said Spiranac. “This is a chance to be part of something innovative, competitive, and culture shaping from the inside out.”

Spiranac’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment for The Grass League as it kicks off its breakout 2025 season. Founded in Tempe, Arizona, the league was created to flip the script on traditional golf formats, delivering fast paced, high stakes action on par-3 courses, many of which are played under the lights.

Unlike traditional creator golf formats, The Grass League was built on one guiding principle: competition comes first. The league lives by the saying, “If you can make it, we’d love to have you.”

Franchises have complete control over their rosters, giving them the freedom to add anyone—with only the constraints imposed by other tours limiting eligibility. That open structure makes Cinderella runs and surprise storylines possible, all while keeping the competitive integrity of the sport intact.

The 2025 Season Features Three Marquee Events:

  • May 2-3: Season opener at Grass Clippings at Rolling Hills (Tempe, AZ)

  • August 30-31 (Labor Day Weekend): Event 2 at Goat Hill Park (Oceanside, CA)

  • December 5-6: Championship finale back at Grass Clippings at Rolling Hills

The league includes 11 franchise teams representing major U.S. markets. Notable ownership includes:

  • The Dallas Horsemen, co-owned by Good Good Golf

  • The San Diego Muni’s, led by 2023 U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark and golf lifestyle brand Municipal

  • The Los Angeles Roses, co-owned by World Series champion and Dodgers manager Dave Roberts

The Grass League has partnered with NBC Sports for multi-platform distribution:

  • The May opener streamed exclusively on Peacock

  • The Labor Day and December events will air on Golf Channel’s linear broadcast

In addition, the league has engaged WME Sports to oversee global partnership sales and HNS Sports Group for elite-level event production. Anchored by the Grass Clippings team and its flagship venue in Tempe, the league is actively expanding to other lighted par-3 venues across the U.S. and beyond.
