The course is playing firm and fast, which will make for a fun week of golf and camaraderie,” said Cody Sherrill, Silverado Resort and Spa’s director of club operations.

Located in the heart of California’s wine country, Silverado Resort and Spa is Napa Valley’s only 36-hole golf resort. The property’s North Course annually hosts the PGA TOUR’s Fortinet Championship in early September. The North Course originally opened in 1955, was redesigned by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and then refreshed by multi-time TOUR winner and then Silverado Resort and Spa owner, Johnny Miller. Silverado’s 6,612-yard, par 72 South Course is a favorite among members and resort guests and was also renovated by Miller. In 2020, the North Course was named to Golfweek’s Best 2020: Top 200 Resort Courses ranking. In addition to two 18-hole golf courses, Silverado features 345 guest rooms, a full service spa, 10 tennis courts and three swimming pools, all in close proximity to Napa Valley’s 400-plus wineries.

The National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA) recently named Silverado Resort and Spa the Regional Golf Course of the Year (Region 4). The national NGCOA award follows it’s ‘California Golf Course of the Year’ award presented by the California Golf Course Owners Association (CGCOA) Board of Directors in November 2020.
