Shot Scope Welcomes Beem as Brand Ambassador

2002 PGA Championship winner to appear in commercials and brand advertising for leading rangefinder and GPS watch company.

EDINBURGH, Scotland, UK – Shot Scope is proud to welcome 2002 PGA Championship winner Rich Beem as its newest brand ambassador. Beem, a television commentator and golf analyst for Sky Sports, will appear in Shot Scope television commercials and video content explaining the many practical and shot-saving uses of the brand’s innovative laser rangefinders, GPS watches, and shot tracking technology.

Shot Scope continues to make moves to establish the company as a global golf brand – particularly in North America. With expansion into more retail locations and a heavier marketing presence in 2025. 

The commercials featuring the charming and humorous Beem, a three-time winner on the PGA TOUR who now lives in Austin, TX, will show consumers the many ways they can become more educated about how they score and plot their personal path to game improvement.

After a collegiate career at New Mexico State, Beem spent two decades playing professionally, winning the 1999 Kemper Open and The International and the PGA Championship in 2002. He joined the Sky Sports team in 2015 and was a color commentator for the video games PGA Tour 2K21 and PGA Tour 2K23.

Today, more than 300,000 globally use Shot Scope devices. Half of the Scottish company’s users reside in America, so the company is taking an ambitious approach to growing Shot Scope’s North American market share with new products, advertising, and further developing its partnerships with PGA of America Golf Professionals and their facilities, as well as with large golf retail chains.

Beem joins key Shot Scope brand ambassadors from around the world of golf, including YouTube and social media sensation Gabriella DeGasperis who is known as GabbyGolfGirl, former playing professional and popular television presenter Wayne “Radar” Riley, leading instructor and YouTube star Peter Finch, acclaimed golf instructor Eric Cogorno, and Mike and Frank Fasano, masterminds behind the popular Golficity media company. 

Also new to Shot Scope is Texas-based content creator Iris Wong, who will appear in Shot Scope commercials and web content in 2025. 

After a successful round of Series B funding and new additions to the management team, sales department, and support staff, Shot Scope recently moved into larger headquarters on the outskirts of Edinburgh to accommodate its growing workforce and business needs.
