SiriusXM will continue to deliver live audio broadcasts of PGA of America events

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (Sept. 14, 2018) – The PGA of America and SiriusXM announced today a five-year extension to their long-term broadcasting agreement. SiriusXM will continue to deliver live audio broadcasts of PGA of America events, including the PGA Championship and the 2020 Ryder Cup, to subscribers nationwide.

SiriusXM and the PGA of America will also launch a new weekly talk show—PGA of America Radio—which debuts on Aug. 8. Airing each Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET, PGA of America Radio will focus on: Expert PGA Member instruction and analysis; major PGA of America golf events; featured programs designed to grow the game; and a unique insider’s perspective on golf from special guests across the industry.

“The reach of SiriusXM is a difference-maker, and the PGA of America is delighted to extend our partnership,” said PGA of America Chief Commercial Officer Jeff Price. “The passion and excitement of the PGA Championship and 2020 Ryder Cup will be presented to an engaged audience through state-of-the-art platforms and devices.

Additionally, the exciting new PGA of America Radio show will serve as a weekly destination for golf fans to uniquely connect with PGA Members and grow the game.

“We are very pleased to be extending our long-standing relationship with the PGA of America.  It ensures that we will continue to offer our subscribers the best and most comprehensive golf coverage available,” said Scott Greenstein, SiriusXM’s President and Chief Content Officer.  “We will continue to deliver broadcasts of the PGA Championship and Ryder Cup nationwide.

“Moreover, the addition of PGA of America Radio to the SiriusXM lineup, which we have built to be an excellent platform for golf instruction, gives our listeners, no matter where they are, access to the skillful teaching of dedicated PGA Professionals.”

Subscribers can listen to this programming on SiriusXM radios (Sirius channel 208, XM channel 92), while those with streaming access can listen online, on-the-go with the SiriusXM mobile app and at home on a wide variety of connected devices, including smart TVs, Amazon Alexa devices, Apple TV, PlayStation, Roku, Sonos speakers and more.
