WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Sapphire Golf Tour proudly announces a groundbreaking partnership with ORCA GOLF, naming the premium golf bag company the official golf bag provider of the Tour. This collaboration underscores a mutual commitment to equity, visibility, and the advancement of Black women in professional golf.
The Sapphire Golf Tour—powered by the United Golfers Association (UGA)—launches this August with its inaugural event at the Country Club at Woodmore in Bowie, Maryland. It is the first national golf tour designed specifically to support and showcase Black women professional golfers.
Co-founded by entrepreneurs Erica Morris and Deborah Bennett, ORCA GOLF has earned national acclaim for disrupting the golf industry with customized bags that reflect the bold identities and stories of their players.
As part of this partnership, all Sapphire Tour professionals will receive custom ORCA GOLF bags, designed to reflect their individuality, purpose, and pride.
“We are honored to be part of this history-making moment,” said Erica Morris, Co-Founder of ORCA GOLF. “The women participating in this tour deserve every spotlight and every opportunity to compete at the highest level with dignity, power, and visibility. This partnership is deeply personal to us as we continue to meaningfully and practically broaden the game of golf.
