Golf Digest Hot List award-winning balls now even more visible
BUFFALO, N.Y. (Sept. 13, 2019) – OnCore Golf Technology, Inc. is excited to announce the launch of its Lime Green Matte ELIXR and AVANT 55 golf balls. The new Lime Green Matte line offers added visibility, a new finish on the ball and an additional color option to the already popular line of yellow and white versions of both golf balls.
This particular green color was devised after the company reviewed information by experts who study the way images are formed on the human retina and how rods and cones in the eye are affected by different wavelengths of light.
The human eye is most sensitive to light at a wavelength of 555 nanometers—a bright green—making this golf ball one that should be highly visible.
“You’re definitely going to want to try this lime green ball so that you don’t lose sight of it, given the combination of high velocity and exceptional distance you’ll achieve off the tee!” offered VP of Sales and co-founder, Steve Coulton.
OnCore’s tour ball, the ELIXR, recently won a gold rating by Golf Digest’s Hot List, and golf legend, Gary Player, recently joined the company’s list of shareholders and endorsers as he began playing the ball at this year’s Masters. The AVANT 55 ball, designed to be soft and long off the tee, won Silver on the recent Hot List awards.
