Experiential package offered for PGA Tour event Oct 4-5

NAPA, Calif. (Sept. 19, 2018) –The Napa Valley Wine Train, an engaging and memorable experience that echoes the glory days of train travel, is pleased to announce that it will be partnering with the PGA Tour’sSafeway Open,hosted at Silverado Resort and Spa, to provide a unique package available on Thursday, Oct. 4 and Friday, Oct. 5.

This year, 100 percent of all Safeway Open ticket sales are donated to rebuilding Napa Valley and supporting the ongoing fire relief efforts.

The new experiential package includes a decadent three-hour journey aboard the Napa Valley Wine Train where guests are encouraged to embrace a slower pace and dine on a gourmet multi-course lunch all while taking in the beautiful scenery of Napa Valley.

Upon return to the train station, guests will be shuttled directly to Silverado Resort and Spa where they will enjoy the PGA TOUR arena and watch their favorite professional golfers in action.

The night will conclude with access into the golf tournament’s open-air concert series in front of Silverado Resort’s mansion clubhouse and a return shuttle to the River Terrace Inn, where guests will be thrilled to relax and recover from their full-day of activities.  Located across from the Napa Valley Wine Train station, the River Terrace Inn is a luxury Napa Valley hotel offering a perfect retreat to guests with lavish accommodations, personalized services and a pristine riverfront setting.

Tickets for the package start at $204 per person on Oct. 4 and $224 per person on Oct. 5.  Tickets include agourmet lunch express tour aboard the Napa Valley Wine Train, round-trip shuttle service to Silverado Resort and Spa, a ticket to the Safeway Open, and overnight accommodations at the River Terrace Inn.

Additionally, guests receive admission to the Safeway Open Concert Series, Safeway Food & Wine Pavilion, Brew Loft, Spirits Lounge and Beers Fore Birdies.
