VANCOUVER, BC – The 2026 Three Nations Cup, a new international junior team competition featuring Canada, the United States, and Mexico, will make its debut February 14–16, at Menifee Lakes Country Club in Menifee, California.

The event is jointly organized by Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT), Canada; Future Champions Golf (FCG), United States; and the Federación Mexicana de Golf (FMG), Mexico, and will be hosted by Future Champions Golf (FCG), one of the premier junior golf organizations in the United States known for its world-class tournaments and player development opportunities.

The inaugural Three Nations Cup will feature a unique team match with 24 players from the USA, Canada, and Mexico (four boys and four girls aged 15–19 from each country). The top three scores from each gender division will count toward the final tally to determine the Three Nations Cup champion.

Players will also compete simultaneously in the 54-hole FCG Western States Cup on an individual basis; those who make the cut will play in the final round of the FCG Western States Cup.

Participating nations will confirm their squads through their respective qualification processes. The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour will qualify the Canadian contingent at the 2025 MJT National Championship presented by adidas golf in Florida this November.

“Creating world-class competitive experiences that put juniors on a bigger stage is core to what we do,” said Trent Matson, National Director of Operations, MJT. “This new team event created with the FCG Tour in the USA and the Federation of Mexican Golf (FMG) in Mexico will give our elite athletes an outstanding experience at a fantastic facility, perfectly scheduled during the off-season.”

“We are so excited to work with the Federation in Mexico and the Maple Leaf Junior Tour in Canada to bring 24 players together to compete for the Inaugural Three Nations Cup!” said Chris Smeal, founder of Future Champions Golf (FCG). “It’s an opportunity to showcase the talent in each country while also creating lifelong memories for the players involved to represent their country.”

“We look forward to making this an annual competition amongst the three countries,” said a spokesperson for the Federación Mexicana de Golf (FMG). “We look forward to collaborating with FCG and Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour for this special event. We will bring eight of our best players from Mexico.”
