Along with the competition, participants will enjoy evenings of music, food and drinks, with a kickoff party at Sweetens Cove to open the event on Saturday, and a post-round celebration at McLemore on Sunday. The entry fee for the inaugural “Where the Valley Meets the Sky” tournament is $900 / per player and includes both rounds of golf plus access to McLemore’s short course, evening shuttle transportation between evening events, as well as all food and beverage costs beginning with the kickoff party on Saturday evening.

The entry fee does not include travel or accommodation costs; however, on-site lodging at both McLemore and Sweetens Cove can be reserved exclusively for players who have registered for the tournament online on a first-come-first-served basis.

”Golfers are constantly looking for new and unique experiences, and the ‘Where the Valley Meets the Sky’ tournament will deliver on that expectation in a huge way,” says Executive Vice President of McLemore and former PGA TOUR player Charlie Rymer.

“In a first of its kind collaboration between McLemore and Sweetens Cove, two of the most talked about courses in the Southeast, a feast of the senses will be served up to tournament participants. Sweetens Cove delivers one of the most visually interesting courses in the country, while the top-100 Highlands Course at McLemore quite literally lets golfers play above the clouds. It’s a match made in heaven. Join us for an exceptional event you’ll have to experience to believe.”

Situated in the mountains of Northwest Georgia, McLemore’s lifestyle attracts discerning families who prefer to enjoy life “above the clouds.” The club features an 18-hole Bill Bergin / Rees Jones-designed golf course that boasts a finishing hole considered one of the best in the world and a short course ideal for every golfer.

Located less than an hour from McLemore and Chattanooga in South Pittsburg, Tenn., Sweetens Cove is a layout that has no equal. The famed nine-hole layout existed as a municipal course, then was reborn after the King-Collins course design team reimagined it as an inland links course.

Borrowing architectural inspiration from some of the game’s most stored layouts, King-Collins crafted Sweetens Cove for maximum enjoyment – wide fairways and big greens, with golfers choosing their own adventure in the way they play the course.

Residences at McLemore are next-level, featuring custom-designed homes connecting with the spectacular natural beauty and breathtaking views to provide families an opportunity to enjoy life “above the clouds.” The club offers corporate and individual memberships with different categories built within each, and unique member events ranging from culinary to music.
