FORT MYERS, Florida – In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Lennar’s Southwest Florida division continues the “Play for Pink” initiative, a month-long campaign aimed at raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research through golf.

Throughout October, pink flags will adorn the ninth and 18th greens at three participating Lennar golf facilities, symbolizing solidarity and hope for those affected by breast cancer.

As part of this initiative, Lennar Southwest Florida will donate $1 for every round of golf played in October 2026.  To book tee times at the three facilities, click on the course links:

  • • Ibis Landing Golf & Country Club in Lehigh Acres, Fla.
  • • Webbs Reserve Golf Club in Babcock Ranch, Fla.
  • • Calusa Country Club in Lakewood Ranch, Fla.

Throughout the month of October, associates at all three courses will wear pink ribbons to emphasis awareness for the importance of early detection.

The “Play for Pink” campaign is conducted in partnership with PLAY for P.I.N.K. (Prevention, Immediate diagnosis, New technology, Knowledge), a nationwide network of volunteers who raise funds for breast cancer research through sporting and lifestyle events.

Notably, 100% of proceeds from PLAY for P.I.N.K. events are donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

“Breast cancer has touched nearly every family, including many in our own Lennar communities in the region. This October, we have a real opportunity to channel that energy toward something bigger than the game. Sharing the importance of early detection and also partnering with PLAY for P.I.N.K. is our way of showing that where you live — and where you play — can make a genuine difference,” said David Negip, VP of Community Management for Lennar Southwest Florida.

This initiative is part of a broader October campaign led by Troon, the world’s largest golf and golf-related hospitality management company. Troon facilities nationwide will host events and activations throughout the month to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research, with PLAY for P.I.N.K. serving as a central partner in the effort.

The “Play for Pink” initiative complements Lennar’s ongoing commitment to community wellness and engagement, following the recent launch of Lennar Family Golf. Both programs reflect Lennar Southwest Florida’s dedication to creating meaningful experiences at its master-planned communities.
