LINCOLN, Neb. – Golf course developer and construction company Landscapes Unlimited has completed installation of a new, state-of-the-art irrigation system throughout the 18-hole South Course at the exclusive Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Maryland, just north of Washington, DC.
Closely collaborating with EC Design, Landscapes Unlimited’s installation of the wall-to-wall irrigation system is optimizing precise location watering, more efficient water management and, ultimately, even healthier turf and playing conditions.
Landscapes Unlimited’s work is key component of a major South Course enhancement project from tee to green overseen by Woodmont Country Club Director of Golf Courses and Grounds Operations Ryan Severidt and Director of Golf David Dorn.
“Irrigation installation may be invisible to Woodmont members, but contributes mightily to enjoyable experiences on the links,” says Dana Grode, Project Manager of Landscapes Unlimited. “It’s also rewarding when maintenance staff can rely on the labor, water usage and financial benefits of a new system that’s properly designed and installed.”
