Founded in 1925, the Golf Club of Avon provides members with a full range of family-oriented recreation and social activities designed to create memorable experiences. Twenty-seven holes of golf feature distinct shot strategies from each of the four sets of tees to consistently make for fun, interesting and challenging rounds. An expansive driving range, chipping green, practice bunkers, junior events, men’s and women’s leagues, club championships and PGA instruction round out the lineup of golf activities.
Non-golf amenities at the Golf Club of Avon include an aquatics facility; eight Har-Tru tennis courts; four post-tension, concrete pickleball courts; and formal and family dining rooms, a pub and patio food service. Events accommodate 200 people for weddings, banquets and other lively social, business and charity gatherings. A packed, year-round calendar of activities provides enjoyment for everyone.
Lake Quivira Country Club is nestled amid beautiful woods, overlooks a 224-acre, natural springs, shimmering lake and features 394 homes of diverse architectural design within the Lake Quivira community.
The club debuted in 1929 and remains a highly regarded gathering place for families and friends. The 18-hole golf course is rife with serene water features, graceful fountains, tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers across a forgiving front nine and an often-penal back nine.
For its commitment to environmental stewardship, including the fostering of a natural habitat for wildlife, the club earned prestigious status as an Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuary.
In addition to golf, the club lifestyle centers around lake water activities; fun in the sun on a private beach: a community center for myriad events; tennis and pickleball courts; formal dining room and casual culinary settings; and well-rounded fitness and wellness programs.
Membership formats include foundation, country club, and fitness and social.
