Nebraska course, Best New Public from Golf Digest, begins its first full year of operations.
HOMER, Nebraska – The new Landmand course in Nebraska, which opened for public play last September, has commenced its first full season of operations. The course, voted the best new public venue of 2022 in America by Golf Digest, made its 2023 bow on May 15.
Landmand, which was designed and constructed by the team of Rob Collins and Tad King, currently golf architecture’s hottest names, is located in the far east of Nebraska, just west of the Missouri river to the south of Sioux City. Public tee times for 2023 were made available for sale at the end of December, and 80 percent of them sold out within a few hours.
“It is a real delight to see golfers back at Landmand,” said Will Andersen, the representative of the family that owns and developed the course. “The course is looking fantastic, and we are hugely excited for players – whether they have seen Landmand before or not – to come Up Top and experience our fantastic golf course and hospitality.”
General manager Adam Fletcher said: “Although public tee times for 2023 sold some time ago, there are always going to be cancellations, so if golfers want to play the course, it’s always worthwhile giving us a call to check availability. We can’t promise anything, but if we can get you out, we will do”
