Seven of the world’s top 10 players scheduled to compete, including fan favorites Henderson and Ko
BELLEAIR, Florida – World No. 1 Jin Young Ko, defending champion and Bradenton resident Nelly Korda, sister Jessica Korda, and fan favorites/major champions Brooke Henderson, Lydia Ko, Brittany Lincicome and Lexi Thompson headline a stacked field of early commitments for the 2022 Pelican Women’s Championship presented by Konica Minolta and Raymond James.
The final full-field event of the 2022 LPGA Tour season, The Pelican Women’s Championship will take place Nov. 7-13 at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Fla, where the world’s top professional golfers will compete for a share of the $2 million purse.
Seven of the top 10 players in the world are early entries into The Pelican Women’s Championship, including Ko (1), defending champion and World No. 4 Nelly Korda, Lydia Ko (5), Brooke Henderson (6), In Gee Chun (7), Thompson (8) and Hyo Joo Kim (10). Major Champion and Tampa-area resident Brittany Lincicome, who stepped away from the LPGA Tour this fall with the birth of her daughter, also will make her competitive return at the Pelican Women’s Championship.

Tournament officials will be announcing in the coming weeks special ancillary events taking place throughout the week at The Pelican Women’s Championship, sponsor exemptions and additional field commitments.
