KINETIXX Launches AI-Powered Fitting Tool Using 40+ Years of Engineering Expertise in Every Golfer’s Pocket

New free-to-use platform uses decades of product technology, flight modeling and engineering expertise to help golfers identify the right shaft for their swing

SAN CLEMENTE, California – What if every golfer could have access to decades of golf shaft engineering and fitting expertise anytime, anywhere?

KINETIXX Golf is taking another step toward that future with the introduction of KINETIXX FIT, an AI-powered fitting platform designed to help golfers navigate one of the most complex and consequential equipment decisions in the bag: finding the right golf shaft.

The platform is completely free to use, with no purchase required, giving golfers anywhere access to sophisticated fitting guidance without the cost or scheduling requirements of a traditional fitting.

Available online through the KINETIXX website, KINETIXX FIT brings more than 40 years of product technology, flight modeling, composite engineering and performance knowledge into an accessible digital fitting experience. Rather than limiting a recommendation to the products on a fitter’s wall or relying solely on generalized shaft categories, the platform is designed to connect individual golfer characteristics with KINETIXX’s extensive portfolio of purpose-built shaft technologies.

The goal is simple: make sophisticated equipment optimization more accessible to golfers, wherever they play.

“Golfers deserve a recommendation driven by what is right for their swing, not simply what happens to be available in someone’s inventory,” said Jason Horodezky, CEO and CTO of KINETIXX Golf. “We’ve spent decades developing products, studying ball flight, modeling performance and understanding how shaft architecture interacts with the golfer and the entire club system. KINETIXX FIT gives us a way to put that knowledge directly into a golfer’s hands.”

Horodezky added: “If I could personally spend 24 hours a day answering golfers’ fitting questions, I would. AI gives us the opportunity to scale that expertise. It’s the equivalent of putting a master fitter in your pocket.”

Moving Beyond the Traditional Fitting Model

Golf equipment has become increasingly sophisticated, but choosing the right shaft can still be intimidating.

Weight, flex, torque, EI profile, balance point, kick point, launch, spin, tempo, angle of attack and recovery characteristics can all influence how a shaft performs for an individual golfer. KINETIXX itself engineers distinct technologies for different performance profiles, with shaft specifications and fitting parameters varying considerably across its portfolio.

That complexity is precisely the problem KINETIXX FIT was created to address.

Instead of asking golfers to become composite engineers or simply select a shaft based on a familiar flex designation, the platform is intended to translate sophisticated fitting and engineering principles into useful equipment recommendations.

It also addresses one of the inherent limitations of traditional retail fitting: recommendations can be influenced by the products, fitting carts and inventory physically available at a particular location.

KINETIXX FIT creates another path.

By digitizing the company’s accumulated fitting and engineering knowledge, KINETIXX can make that expertise available to golfers regardless of location, experience level or access to a specialized fitting facility.

AI Backed by Real Engineering

For KINETIXX, the distinction is important: the intelligence behind the tool did not begin with AI. It began with decades of engineering.

KINETIXX has built its product portfolio around advanced composite construction, material science, flight modeling and highly specific performance profiles. Its current technologies include vacuum-cured constructions, continuous-fiber filament winding, proprietary material architectures and Kevlar®-reinforced designs engineered around specific launch, spin, stability, energy-transfer and player characteristics.

The company’s shaft specifications already incorporate fitting variables extending beyond traditional flex — including launch and spin profiles, tempo fit, angle-of-attack fit, recovery mode, balance characteristics and recommended swing-speed ranges.

KINETIXX FIT builds upon that foundation.

“AI is only as valuable as the knowledge behind it,” Horodezky said. “We aren’t asking AI to invent an answer. We’re giving golfers access to an engineering knowledge base that has been built over decades of designing, testing and understanding golf shaft performance. That distinction matters.”

Making Better Fitting More Accessible

KINETIXX sees the platform as part of a broader shift in how golfers can approach equipment decisions.

Professional fitting will continue to play an important role in golf, particularly when golfers have access to experienced fitters, comprehensive component selections and reliable launch-monitor data. But those resources are not equally accessible to every player.

Digital fitting creates an opportunity to close that gap.

A golfer researching equipment at home, comparing potential shaft profiles or simply trying to understand which KINETIXX technology best suits their game can now begin that process with a fitting resource available whenever they need it.

And because the platform is digital, the fitting experience can continue to evolve alongside KINETIXX’s technology, product portfolio and accumulated performance knowledge.

For a company that has spent decades challenging conventional assumptions about how golf shafts should be designed and manufactured, applying that same philosophy to the fitting process was a natural next step.

“We’ve never been interested in doing something a certain way simply because that’s how the golf industry has always done it,” Horodezky said. “Whether we’re talking about materials, manufacturing, shaft architecture or now fitting, the question is always the same: Can engineering give the golfer a better answer?”

With KINETIXX FIT, the company believes that answer can now be available to virtually anyone with a phone in their hand.

KINETIXX FIT is completely free and available now at KINETIXXGolf.com/kinetixx-fit.
