Record number of GOLFZON facilities are set to participate as golfers compete for a share of $300K in team prizes and a $20K individual qualifying purse

CHANTILLY, Virginia – GOLFZON, the world leader in golf simulator technology, has announced GOLFZON Tour Season 3’s individual qualifying for golfers over the age of 18 is now open through Sept. 30.

The third iteration of the GOLFZON Tour features the largest number of operator sites in the competition’s history as 127 facilities across 31 states and 14 countries have signed on to participate in Season 3, a 74% increase from last season.

Once registered in Golf Genius, golfers simply need to log into their GOLFZON account at their participating facility and post a qualifying round score. There is no limit on individual attempts to qualify, and only a player’s best round counts, so a golfer can keep playing through September to improve their position.

The four best individual qualifying scores at each host facility will form that operator’s team for October’s Team Qualifying stage.

Beyond a spot on their facility’s team, there are additional prizes up for grabs as golfers compete in September:

  • • The top five individual qualifying scores across every host facility worldwide split $20,000, with $10,000 to first place, $5,000 to second, $2,500 to third, $1,500 to fourth and $1,000 to fifth
  • • The top three finishers earn all-expenses-paid exemptions into the 2026 GOLFZON China Open in December, a professional event with a prize purse of approximately $3 million
  • • Golfers who play more than three individual qualifying rounds are entered into a raffle, with prizes including tickets to the 2027 F1 Miami Grand Prix, a round for two at a GOLFZON partner course, GOLFZON Tour apparel and GOLFZON speakers
  • • All participants receive a 50% off discount code for GOLFZON Leadbetter Level 1 lessons

“Golfers of all skill levels are welcome to compete in GOLFZON Tour Season 3. You do not need a handicap, a club membership or a simulator at home to participate. All it takes is one good round in September to tee it up for a shot at the $300,000 prize purse, and that’s what makes this event so exciting,” said Dean Schneider, Director of GOLFZON Competitions.

“The enthusiastic response to the Tour is driving another significant increase in the number of participating facilities this year. We look forward to welcoming new and returning competitors to Season 3.”

All GOLFZON Tour matches are played on GOLFZON’s TwoVision and TwoVisionNX simulators, which use advanced camera systems for precise measurement of swing analytics and the 64-directional GOLFZON Motion Plate, allowing the simulator to replicate up to 56,000 distinct lies so no two competitors ever face the same shot.

The Bracket Play rounds leverage the Network Play functionality, which connects GOLFZON facilities around the world and lets teams compete against one another in real time.

“GOLFZON has been honing and expanding its competitive indoor golf ecosystem for more than a decade,” said Sean Pyun, CEO, GOLFZON America. “In South Korea, our GTOUR and WGTOUR leagues draw the country’s best players, air on broadcast television and have awarded more than $12 million in prize money across 200-plus tournaments.

“Season 3 is our biggest step yet toward making this the definitive tour for competitive simulator golf.”

Golfers can find participating Season 3 host facilities on the Tour’s website. Individuals can register for Season 3 here.
