In 2016, Jamie Handler, President of IBKUL, and Anurag Gauba, COO of IBKUL, connected with a shared vision: to create apparel specifically engineered with technical features to enhance the wearers comfort, efficiency, safety and physical capabilities during athletic activities and demanding environments.
Unlike traditional garments that prioritize aesthetics alone, IBKUL is built with function in mind, optimizing how the body handles heat, sweat and movement.
From the beginning, IBKUL set out to solve a simple challenge: How do you stay cool, comfortable and protected from the sun, while remaining stylish? The answer became the foundation of the brand – performance fabrics, UPF sun protection, the patented IceFil Cooling Technology, distinctive prints and versatile designs created for an active lifestyle.
Over the past 10 years, IBKUL has grown from an idea into a recognized athleisure brand with a loyal following among golfers, tennis and pickleball players, travelers and active consumers.
Along the way, the brand has earned significant industry recognition, including being named by the Association of Golf Merchandisers ‘the top performing brand at Private Clubs and Resorts’ throughout the US for three consecutive years, a testament to the popularity of the line among retailers and consumers.
