Immersive, tech-driven golf experience brings iconic courses, social play, and next-generation entertainment to the heart of the Texas Hill Country
SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Villas, the premier Texas Hill Country resort located on 300 acres in San Antonio, is celebrating the opening of 35 state-of-the-art ToptracerRange golf bays at its Hill Country Golf Club, introducing a dynamic, tech-enabled golf experience designed for players of all skill levels.
Combining entertainment, competition, and social play, the new Toptracer Range™ bays transform the traditional driving range into an interactive experience where guests can play iconic courses including Pebble Beach, Royal St. George’s, St. Andrews and Torrey Pines, or engage in games such as Angry Birds, closest-to-the-pin, and long drive challenges.

The Toptracer Range features 20 covered entertainment bays, offering a flexible, lounge-style setting ideal for group gatherings, celebrations, and corporate events and 15 open-air bays. Guests can enjoy food and beverage service delivered directly to their bay or reserve curated “Par-Tee” Packages, which include two hours of play for up to six people, a selection of delicious food platters and youth rental clubs.
Bays are available for reservation, with pricing starting at $35 per hour and a 15 percent discount offered to resort guests.
Resort-wide enhancements further elevate the guest experience
The launch of the Toptracer Range™ is part of Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Villas’ broader multi-year transformation, which has redefined the property as one of Texas’ most distinctive resort destinations. Just steps from the golf bays, guests can experience The Big Spring, an all-new, 2.2-acre recreational lagoon, the first of its kind powered by Crystal Lagoons® technology, that brings an impressive beach-style experience to the Texas Hill Country, complete with pristine white sand beaches, premium cabanas, and a variety of fun water sports and activities.
Overlooking the lagoon, the newly opened Rancher Hall offers 5,600 square feet of indoor-outdoor event space with sweeping waterfront views, providing a stunning backdrop for weddings, corporate gatherings, and special events.
The resort has also expanded its premium accommodations with the addition of five standalone villas, each named after historic Hill Country rivers including Brazos, Guadalupe, Nueces, Pecos and San Saba. The well-appointed villas offer more than 2,300 square feet of residential-style living space, private outdoor patios, and dedicated host service.
The spa features a tranquil outdoor pool complete with new, plush lounge chairs, a whirlpool, eucalyptus steam room and sauna. The spa interior was also updated with new fixtures, décor, artwork, and enhanced pedicure and manicure stations in the salon.
