The new facility is 2,500 square feet and has three teaching/practice bays staffed by the most highly-trained coaches in the industry

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (Aug. 13, 2018) – GOLFTEC, the world leader in golf lessons and top employer of PGA instructors, announces the opening of a state-of-the-art performance center in Fort Lauderdale, located in the Southport Shopping Center at 1489 Southeast 17th Street.

The new facility is 2,500 square feet and has three teaching/practice bays staffed by the most highly-trained coaches in the industry. These individuals leverage GOLFTEC’s world-renowned teaching technology – including advanced motion measurement, video analysis and premium launch monitors – to help any student find the lesson plan best suited for their unique needs. GOLFTEC students drop an average of seven strokes from their scores.

The Fort Lauderdale GOLFTEC also features the company’s enhanced TECFIT custom club fitting program. The Tour-like fitting experience combines swing characteristics with ball flight data to help identify optimal golf equipment for each student. An array of clubhead/shaft options are available to perfectly match players of any skill level with the clubs that best meet their needs. Nearly 75% of all golfers who experience a TECFIT custom driver fitting gain an average of 25 yards over their previous equipment.

“The Fort Lauderdale community consists of a very large and growing number of golfers, each of which is looking for ways to improve their game and enjoy golf even more,” said Joe Assell, co-founder and CEO of GOLFTEC. “Our goal is to help people play their best golf and we’re looking forward to providing the area with the industry’s leading instruction and club fitting programs.”

Fort Lauderdale GOLFTEC Center Manager and Director of Instruction Michael Kruzick will oversee operations at the new facility. A PGA Member, Kruzick has over 10 years of experience with teaching and game improvement in the state of Florida.

“We’re eager to help players of any age or skill level reach their goals through lessons at our facility,” said Kruzick. “Our staff is comprised of some of the best Certified Personal Coaches, who have years of instructional experience using the latest in golf technology.”

While the majority of lessons are taught indoors in private bays, coaches also accompany players for on-course/outdoor lessons to ensure they are comfortable in real world situations.

The renowned, global GOLFTEC coaching team is comprised of experienced instructors, most of whom are PGA Professionals and have taught thousands of lessons. Each goes through a rigorous multi-week certification at GOLFTEC University including continued, advanced training to master the analysis of golf swing mechanics, the technology utilized by GOLFTEC and the most productive teaching techniques. Committed to strengthening the industry and hiring only the best staff, GOLFTEC is the largest employer of PGA Instructors in the world.
