Accelerated adoption evident across global golf markets

WAYNE, Pennsylvania – Golf Genius announced recently that in the peak season months of June and July 2022, the company’s flagship product, Golf Genius Tournament Management, was used to manage nearly 10 million rounds of golf.

This record number represents year-over-year growth of over 20% and reflects expanded usage across 10,000+ golf facilities in more than 60 countries.

According to Chris Kallmeyer, Co-CEO of Golf Genius: “We continue to experience accelerating growth in our tournament management business. We’re pleased the value of our TM product is broadly resonating across all segments of the marketplace, including private clubs, public access facilities, resorts, national and regional golf associations, PGA sections and tours.”

Golf Genius customer satisfaction, measured using the enterprise-standard Net Promoter Score (NPS) methodology, has also reached record highs in 2022.

Said Kallmeyer: “Today, we employ 65 PGA Professionals who have lived the day-to-day challenges of managing golf operations and understand the importance of highly responsive, expert service. Our team is always listening and learning as we constantly strive to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

“By combining deep customer engagement and constant innovation with a reliable product that sits at the heart of successful golf operations, we are able to earn the trust and satisfaction reflected by our world-class NPS scores.”

2022 also has seen Golf Genius play a role in national golf championships. In recent weeks, Golf Genius Tournament Management has been the primary scoring system for the USGA’s inaugural U.S. Adaptive Open, the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, and the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

The Golf Genius TM Certification Program, launched in 2021 and designed for PGA professionals seeking advanced proficiency in the use of Golf Genius Tournament Management, has grown to several hundred participants.

In addition to skills development, being “Golf Genius Certified” is a valuable resume enhancer for golf professionals.

Mike Zisman, Co-CEO of Golf Genius, commented: “2022 year-to-date has been, by any metric, a terrific year for our company. I’m proud of our team’s performance and am especially grateful to the thousands of customers around the world who have placed their trust in our tournament management solutions.

“We continue to invest heavily in research and development, evaluate acquisition possibilities, and seek out new product opportunities in order to deliver innovative solutions to the golf industry.”
