Competition returns Aug. 25 on Golf Channel
STAMFORD, Connecticut – Golf Channel has announced the cast for the upcoming season of Big Break x Good Good presented by Golf Galaxy, premiering Tuesday, Aug. 25 on Golf Channel and streaming next day on GolfPass.
The popular reality competition series features 12 highly skilled golfers competing in a series of unique golf challenges to claim the Big Break title and a spot in the PGA TOUR’s Good Good Championship in November.
The 11 confirmed competitors include an eclectic and entertaining mix of talented golfers from across the industry. Good Good Golf’s Sean Walsh and Matt Meneghetti were the first two competitors chosen for the competition when the return of the series was announced last year.
They will be joined by characters such as Asaeli Marika “Bat” Batibasaga, a friend and former caddie for PGA TOUR golfer Jason Day, World Long Driver Josh Jackson, the son of former professional football player John Jackson, and World No. 1 disabled golfer Kipp Popert, a four-time U.S. Adaptive Open winner.
The final spot in Big Break x Good Good will be determined by the first-ever “Big Break Qualifier” on August 7, which premieres exclusively on GolfPass that day before airing on Golf Channel on Aug. 24. New England golfer Fletcher Babcock, Californian Murphy Scott, and Nick Bienz, a Golf Galaxy associate in Indiana, will compete for the 12th spot.
Beginning with the Aug. 25 premiere, Golf Channel will air ten episodes of the Big Break x Good Good presented by Golf Galaxy every Tuesday night at 9 p.m. ET through Oct. 27. New episodes will be available to stream next day on GolfPass, the always-on destination for Big Break fans, with past season and specials also available to stream.
