Expanded partnership brings 2027 FCG Callaway World Championship qualifying to Germany and new college golf recruiting opportunities through CAMPUS
SAN DIEGO, California and GERMANY — Future Champions Golf and Pro1Putt are excited to announce an expanded partnership designed to create even more opportunities for junior golfers throughout Germany and strengthen the pathway from European junior golf to international competition and U.S. college golf.
As part of the enhanced partnership, Pro1Putt will host an official qualifying event in Germany for the 2027 FCG Callaway World Championship, giving junior golfers the opportunity to earn their way into one of Future Champions Golf’s premier international championships in Southern California.
The FCG Callaway World Championship annually brings together hundreds of talented junior golfers from around the world for an unforgettable week of competition, international friendships, and exposure.
Expanding FCG’s Presence in Germany
The partnership will also provide Pro1Putt and junior golf in Germany with an enhanced presence on FutureChampionsGolf.com, connecting German players and families with FCG’s growing international tournament network.
Future Champions Golf currently operates and partners with organizations around the world, creating pathways for junior golfers to compete internationally while building relationships between players, coaches, academies, tours, and golf organizations across multiple countries.
Germany will become an increasingly important part of that global network through the expanded relationship with Pro1Putt.
CAMPUS to Power College Golf Recruiting Opportunities
A major new component of the partnership will be the introduction of CAMPUS to Pro1Putt players and families.
CAMPUS is a modern college golf recruiting platform designed to help junior golfers showcase their game, organize their recruiting information, and connect with college golf programs.
Through the partnership, German junior golfers will have greater access to resources designed to help them understand and navigate the U.S. college golf recruiting process while creating a digital profile that can showcase their golf accomplishments, tournament results, academics, video, and other important recruiting information.
College coaches can also utilize CAMPUS to discover and evaluate prospective student-athletes, creating another bridge between talented German junior golfers and college golf programs in the United States.
Building a Global Pathway for Junior Golfers
The expanded Pro1Putt partnership is another step in FCG’s continued international growth and its mission to create meaningful opportunities for junior golfers regardless of where they live.
“We are extremely excited to expand our relationship with Pro1Putt and continue growing our presence in Germany,” said Chris Smeal, Founder and President of Future Champions Golf. “Germany has tremendous junior golf talent, and our goal is to create a clear pathway for these players to compete on the international stage, qualify for the FCG Callaway World Championship, and learn more about opportunities to play college golf in the United States through CAMPUS. We see a lot of potential for this partnership to continue growing for many years.”
The partnership combines international tournament opportunities, championship qualification, increased global exposure, and college recruiting resources into a growing pathway for German junior golfers.
Additional information regarding the 2027 FCG Callaway World Championship Germany Qualifier, including dates, location, age divisions, and qualifying spots, will be announced through Pro1Putt and Future Champions Golf.
