Expanded partnership will create a nationwide fig qualifying series, a WAGR-ranked National Finale, a pathway to the fig Global Games, and increased access to U.S. college golf recruiting through Campus

SAN DIEGO, California / INDIA — Future Champions Golf is excited to announce a major expansion of its partnership with Greens to Glory Junior Golf Tour, India, creating an enhanced nationwide pathway for junior golfers throughout India to compete on the international stage.

Building on the success of the existing relationship between the two organizations, Greens to Glory plans to establish an expanded fig India Qualifying Series featuring events across several of India’s key junior golf hubs.

The first phase of the expanded series is planned to include four pre-qualifiers (2-day events) in NCR, Chandigarh/ Mohali, Kolkata and Bengaluru. This will culminate with the Finale, which will be a WAGR tournament to be conducted in the National Capital Region (NCR).

A National Pathway to fig Championships

The expanded qualifying structure is designed to give junior golfers throughout India a clear and competitive pathway into Future Champions Golf’s premier international championships in the United States.

Players will have opportunities to earn qualification into the fig International Junior Golf Championship and the fig Callaway World Championship, two of fig’s largest annual international events.

Top performers from the regional qualifying events will also advance to the National Finale in Delhi NCR, bringing together many of India’s strongest junior golfers.

The expanded partnership is designed to make the Greens to Glory qualifying series the primary pathway in India for players seeking to earn their place in fig’s major championships, while continuing to recognize players who have already earned exemptions through existing fig exemption policies.

Road to the 2027 fig Global Games

The partnership will also play an important role in selecting players to represent Team India at the inaugural fig Global Games Team Competition in July 2027.

Players competing through the Greens to Glory series and National Finale will have an opportunity to earn consideration for Team India, with additional Team India qualifying opportunities potentially being developed.

The fig Global Games will bring junior golfers from countries around the world together in a unique international team competition.

“We are extremely excited about what Greens to Glory is building in India,” said Chris Smeal, Founder and President of Future Champions Golf. “India has tremendous potential in junior golf, and instead of having just one qualifying opportunity, we want players throughout the country to have access to fig. Delhi, Chandigarh/ Mohali, Kolkata and Bengaluru give us the foundation for a true national series.”

“Our goal is much bigger than simply qualifying players for one tournament. We want to create a long-term pathway connecting India’s junior golfers with fig championships, the Global Games and opportunities to play college golf in the United States.”

Campus to Expand U.S. College Golf Recruiting Access in India

Another major component of the expanded partnership will be Campus, the college golf recruiting platform designed to connect aspiring student-athletes with college golf programs in the United States.

Greens to Glory will begin introducing Campus to junior golfers and families throughout India and educating parents about the U.S. college golf recruiting process.

Through the partnership, players will be able to learn how to build their recruiting profile, showcase their golf accomplishments and video, research college opportunities, and better understand the pathway toward playing collegiate golf in the United States.

fig and Campus will work closely with Greens to Glory to provide educational materials, demonstrations and resources that can be shared directly with Indian families.

“College golf in the United States can be an incredible opportunity for players from India, but families need better information and better tools to understand the process,” Smeal added. “Greens to Glory gives us a trusted partner on the ground who can educate families, while Campus gives those players the technology to take the next step.”

Building the Future of Junior Golf in India

The expanded relationship represents a long-term commitment from Future Champions Golf and Greens to Glory to develop opportunities for Indian junior golfers.

Together, the organizations intend to:

  • • Build multiple fig qualifying opportunities across India
  • • Create a prestigious National Finale in Delhi NCR
  • • Provide pathways into the fig International and fig Callaway World Championship
  • • Develop the qualification pathway for Team India at the 2027 fig Global Games
  • • Increase awareness of U.S. college golf opportunities
  • • Promote Campus throughout India as a college golf recruiting resource
  • • Continue growing fig’s presence and brand throughout the country

Further details regarding tournament dates, venues, qualification criteria and the Team India selection process will be announced soon.
