State-of-the-art clubhouse will elevate member experience at top-ranked Indiana course

LINCOLN, Nebraska — Dormie Network has announced plans to build a new clubhouse at Victoria National in Newburgh, Indiana. The project represents Dormie Network’s continued commitment to enhancing the member experience, ensuring facilities match the caliber of a golf course ranked the No. 1 Best Course in Indiana by Golf Digest.

Victoria National has come a long way since Dormie Network acquired it in 2018,” says Victoria National General Manager Brad Wilson. “As a Top 100 course in the country, the golf course speaks for itself, and it is time for the clubhouse to match both the golf experience and level of hospitality.

The new clubhouse is going to be far more conducive to entertainment, whether for a group of four or 24. It will give our membership something they can be proud of when hosting friends, family, or clients.”

The new two-level clubhouse, spanning approximately 28,000 square feet, will be built on the site of the existing clubhouse. An additional comfort station on the front nine will also be built.

Demolition of the existing clubhouse is scheduled to begin when the club closes for the current season in November 2026, with completion of the new facility anticipated in early 2028. During construction, staff will operate from two onsite cottages. 44 rooms will remain available for members and their guests to stay onsite.

Sinclair Hille, the architecture firm behind all Dormie Network’s capital improvements, is the architect on record for the project. The firm is designing the clubhouse with a cohesive aesthetic inspired by the regional landscape and the site’s coal mining history.

The exterior will be anchored by locally sourced Indiana limestone, complemented by a warm, refined palette of materials and finishes that subtly evoke the site’s industrial past.

The clubhouse will include a variety of indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, including a primary dining room with panoramic course views, a full-service bar, and a private dining and meeting area with access to a floor-to-ceiling vertical wine cellar.

Thoughtfully appointed locker rooms will provide space to change on arrival and refresh after a round.

The rear of the clubhouse will open to a large, covered deck with seating and views of the course.

Café Vic at the ground level of the clubhouse will offer self-service food and beverage options alongside a full bar, and candy wall for a convenient at-the-turn experience. An adjacent Owner’s Lounge will offer a private space for groups, featuring a golf simulator and additional entertainment amenities.

With sustainability in mind, the new clubhouse will utilize a geothermal ground-source heat pump that leverages stable year-round ground temperatures to operate more efficiently than conventional systems.

Dormie Network is always looking to give our membership more, and a new clubhouse does just that,” says Wilson. “Dormie Network is redefining private destination golf with unforgettable experiences made for connecting, and we feel like this clubhouse creates a space and atmosphere where this is effortless. We are confident that our membership will be blown away when doors open in 2028.”
