DAPHNE’S Partners with LPGA Hall of Famer Powell & Clearview Hope

Clearview HOPE was founded in 2011 as a recreational and therapeutic space for our women military veterans. A space where they can gather to learn the sport of golf

But more importantly, relax among others who have had the same or similar experiences. It is a year-round and cost-free program using golf as its nucleus to bring them together.

Daphne’s has seen many decades of golf since 1979, when Jane Spicer and her mother, Daphne, created the niche.  Dogs, cats, and wildlife are prominent, and “Just for Fun” designs add to the variety.  The Tiger Headcover was an early hit as it has been on Tiger Woods’ bag his entire professional career. 

Additionally, over 200 professional golfers can be found sporting  Daphne’s Headcovers on their golf bags.

“One of Daphne’s Headcovers core value is; We must do good while we are doing well, so partnering with Clear View Hope and supporting women veterans aligns perfectly with our values.” says Spicer.

On the partnership Ms Powell says, “Our Clearview HOPE Women Veterans feel very special that Daphne’s Headcovers chose to partner with them to create a Military Bear with proceeds benefiting their program.

Often, they have been made to feel invisible but the Military Bear exemplifies the strength they have shown in defending our country, just like their male counterparts.”
