Concert Golf Partners has acquired The Club at Pasadera, located in Monterey, California — its 33rd acquisition and its first in California. The previous owner was a group of local investors who were seeking a buyer that could solve some critical long-term governance and capital issues.

The club, which is situated in the iconic landscape of the Monterey Peninsula, features a 6,673-yard par-71 golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus with views of the Pacific coastline and surrounding hillsides.

Other amenities at the club include a resort-style pool and 25-meter lap pool, a 150-guest dining room which opens to a covered patio overlooking the golf course and the Santa Lucia Mountains, and The Nicklaus Lodge, which offers members a complete five-bedroom lodge for retreats and family gatherings.

Concert Golf will maintain the The Club at Pasadera’s culture and legacy of unique member programs, from curated wine tastings to exclusive golf clinics to signature events such as The Concours at Pasadera, a collection of modern, classic, and vintage automobiles gathered from club members and locals.

“The Club at Pasadera is a special place to me and to all of the other partners who personally invested to acquire the club in 2018, and invested in its many improvements,” said Rohit Khanna, chairman of the managing committee at The Club at Pasadera. “We are very proud of the progress made over the past five years and are confident that Concert Golf is the right successor for The Club at Pasadera to become the best golf and family oriented country club on the Peninsula.”

Concert Golf recently acquired two Texas clubs, Northgate Country Club and Walden on Lake Conroe Golf Club, and is continuing its mission to preserve the identity and traditions of historic clubs around the country.
