Honoring the course architects, the hub offers members a place to come together, practice their swing and enjoy game day
CARSON CITY, Nevada – Clear Creek Tahoe, a private residential community located on the eastern slope of the Carson Range, has unveiled a lively new gathering spot named in honor of the legendary designers of the Club’s nationally ranked golf course, Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw.
A tribute to the game’s legacy at Clear Creek, the space is adorned with vintage golf memorabilia, including Ben Crenshaw’s Ryder Cup golf bag, a signed Masters flag from his 1984 and 1995 victories and historic photos from the course’s construction—a rarity to all be found in one place.
The space features two state-of-the-art TrackMan iO golf simulators, a horseshoe bar serving golf-themed cocktails and six monitors for game-day viewing. The grille at Bill & Ben’s serves elevated favorites, including everything from bar bites and salads to flatbreads and burgers in addition to the new and exclusive “Clear Creek Pale Ale” brewed in partnership with Pigeon Head Brewery in Reno, NV.
“As we continue to evolve and develop compelling member programming, we’re excited to introduce a space that pays homage to Clear Creek Tahoe’s impressive course while providing a staple gathering place for our community,” said Director of Membership, Christopher Appling. “Coore & Crenshaw play a large role in the story of our development and we feel proud to honor their legacy in a welcoming environment where members can connect and be inspired by the spirit of the game.”

Clear Creek Tahoe’s Coore & Crenshaw golf course is a mountain masterpiece, true to the architects’ philosophy of minimalist design. Home to Nevada’s No. 1 residential golf course, the pair did not impose a golf course but rather discovered it within the natural contours of the land. Minimal earth was moved, and the result is exceptional — a statement as to why Coore & Crenshaw are considered the premier contemporary designers in the world.

Nestled within 1,576 acres and bordered by six million acres of the largest national forest in the lower 48 states, homesites include a $150,000 social membership to the club, providing access to an impressive amenity suite, which includes activities and family-friendly experiences.

In addition, to the course and Bill & Ben’s, Clear Creek Tahoe features Summit Camp, the community’s gathering space featuring a pool, tennis, pickleball and basketball courts and a game room; the Julia Morgan-designed Twin Pines Lake & Ski House, offering a variety of experiences to enjoy summer fun, from boat rides to jet skis, summer barbecues, concerts, and more, while acting as the après ski hub each winter offering equipment storage and complimentary rides to/from Heavenly Ski Resort; and the award-winning Clear Creek Clubhouse, a defining community amenity featuring indoor and outdoor space for dining and social gatherings and approximately 5,000 square feet dedicated to fitness and wellness.
