Bold innovation, proven performance and fresh style define new offerings for men, women, and youth

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. – Ahead has unveiled its 2027 Headwear Collection, bringing together performance fabrics, modern silhouettes, and thoughtful detailing across an expanded assortment for men, women, and youth.

The collection reflects both what is new in headwear and what Ahead customers have already embraced. From the brand’s proprietary AeroSphere® performance fabric and best-selling lightweight cotton styles to new prints, bold color stories, and industry-leading ornamentation, the offerings combine performance and versatility with looks designed to stand out in retail locations, on and off the course.

“The collection illustrates how we approach headwear: listen to what our customers are responding to, build on what’s working and keep pushing the product forward,” said Mark Kliethermes, Senior Creative Director, Ahead. “AeroSphere is a great example. Customer response has been tremendous, and we’re building on that success while making the fabric with 93 percent recycled materials.”MEN’S (UNISEX) HIGHLIGHTS

AeroSphere: Weightless by Design. Made to Matter.

Introduced in 2023, Ahead’s four-way stretch fabric has grown into one of the brand’s most sought-after innovations. Lightweight and based on performance, AeroSphere is now featured across 14 styles, including three best sellers – Status, Frio and Alto – demonstrating its growing importance across the headwear lineup.

1995: A Classic Look, Reimagined

One of Ahead’s newer styles is also quickly becoming one of its most popular. The 1995 delivers a fresh take on a classic look, pairing a structured five-panel cotton twill construction with cream panels and a bold contrasting bill. Four colorways expand the assortment, giving buyers an even broader range of options. A distinctive two-tone silicone snap closure adds an unexpected finishing detail to the clean design.

Harrison: Elevated Texture and Refined

The Harrison expands the brand’s popular rope collection with a more tailored approach to the five-panel cap. Constructed from a soft, heathered cotton-linen fabric, the cap brings dimension and a polished casual feel to the design. Offered in grey, natural, tan, blue and pink, the Harrison is finished with a self-fabric micro-Velcro closure for an understated finish.

WOMEN’S HIGHLIGHTS

Prints, Texture and Easygoing Style

For 2027, Ahead’s women’s collection continues to bridge the gap between performance headwear and fashion. Patterns remain an important influence, but this year they are joined by textures, softer silhouettes, and details that provide refreshing versatility.

Zoey: A Fresh Take on the Bucket Hat

The Zoey brings a playful print to the always-versatile bucket hat and combines performance and style in an easy-to-wear silhouette. Constructed from performance polyester, the semi-structured hat features an all-over geometric floral print for a spirited, feminine look.

Sloane: Small Prints Make a Big Impression

Mini prints continue to be a fashion forward direction in women’s headwear, and the Sloane gives the trend a fun twist by putting polka dots on center stage. It is available in four colorways: white with navy dots, navy with white dots, light blue with brown dots, and stone with cheetah-inspired dots. A tonal Velcro closure completes the look.

Meridian: Lightweight With a Modern Point of View

Relaxed style meets modern texture in the Meridian, a new unstructured style crafted from crinkled nylon. The fabric gives the cap a soft, relaxed appearance while an adjustable elastic toggle closure adds both functionality and a contemporary finishing detail. The Meridian reflects the increasingly lifestyle-driven approach to ladies’ headwear.

YOUTH HIGHLIGHTS

Alti: A Fit for the Next Generation

One of Ahead’s most popular looks is now available for younger golfers. The Alti, inspired by the Alto and designed in a youth 7–12 fit, features AeroSphere® fabric and classic rope detailing. Available in six colors, it delivers the same lightweight performance, distinctive styling and attention to detail as Ahead’s adult line.

The 2027 Headwear Collection is available for preview through Ahead sales advisors and in the company’s catalog at aheadweb.com/catalogs.
