MONTEREY, California – Youth on Course, the non-profit organization dedicated to providing access to life-changing opportunities through golf, has announced Golf Galaxy, DICK’S and DICK’S House of Sport as Official Golf Retail Partners of Youth on Course.
This deepened collaboration adds more pathways to the sport to further eliminate economic barriers for young golfers.
Youth on Course members nationwide retain exclusive access to affordable instruction and industry-leading technology at all Golf Galaxy and DICK’S House of Sport locations.
The enhanced partnership now includes 25 DICK’S stores across key markets such as New York, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, Illinois, Connecticut, Minnesota, Tennessee, New Jersey, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Washington, Texas, Michigan, Indiana and Wisconsin.
This includes $5 SIM rental fees, one free lesson from a PGA Teaching Professional and special in-store events. Additionally, the partnership will leverage a curated network of key brand ambassadors and influencers, including Hally Leadbetter, to amplify the mission to a broader, more diverse audience of next-generation golfers.
“Our relationship with Golf Galaxy, DICK’S and DICK’S House of Sport launched a vital, year-round pathway for our members to play, learn and build confidence,” said Adam Heieck, CEO of Youth on Course. “Expanding this initiative as our Official Golf Retail Partner allows us to seamlessly bridge the gap between off-course development and green-grass access, ensuring every young person has the tools to sustain their golf journey.”
“The momentum behind youth golf is incredible, and we are thrilled to deepen our relationship with Youth on Course,” said Ryan Bogosta, Vice President at Golf Galaxy. “By combining our immersive in-store experiences with Youth on Course’s impactful community network, we can continue to welcome new young golfers into the sport.”
The initial 2025 collaboration between the brands made history as Youth on Course’s first-ever off-grass partnership, successfully scaling a 25-store summer pilot program that has to date generated over 64,000 SIM rental hours across more than 175 Golf Galaxy and 35 DICK’S House of Sport locations.
By logging into a DICK’S ScoreCard account and using the Game Time Booking platform, members can access simulator rentals for just $5 per hour, receive one complimentary lesson from a PGA Teaching Professional at select locations, and attend exclusive, special in-store events.
To redeem these benefits, Youth on Course members must:
- • Create or log into a DICK’S ScoreCard account
- • Book the lesson and/or simulator rental on the website or mobile app for Golf Galaxy, DICK’S and DICK’S House of Sport
- • Bring a valid Youth on Course membership card (via the app or printed) for check-in
The partnership’s impact extends beyond the retail experience through support from The DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation. In Houston, The Foundation recently committed a three-year, $300,000 Sports Matter Grant to Youth on Course, providing $100,000 annually to help expand access to the game.
The funding will support the addition of 72 public golf courses to the Youth on Course network over the next three years, creating more opportunities for young people across the region to learn and play golf.
