Originally developed by founder Miura in the pursuit of pure putting performance, the KM-008 putter remains one of the legendary manufacturer’s most highly regarded products

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona – Miura Golf, manufacturer of the world’s most meticulously designed golf clubs, celebrates the return of one of the most iconic designs from the company’s illustrious past: the KM-008 putter.

The classic putter is being produced in extremely limited quantities worldwide, with no additional production planned once the initial allocation sells out.

While many modern putters focus on increasing stability through larger footprints, heavier perimeter weighting, and multi-material construction, the KM-008 is designed to emphasize balance, precision, and craftsmanship while preserving a traditional profile.

The result is a putter that provides exceptional feedback and feel without sacrificing performance.

“The smaller head of the KM-008 makes it easier to focus on the ball and provides the golfer with the confidence of knowing that it will naturally return to square at impact,” said Bill Holowaty, COO, Miura Golf. “We’re confident that this putter will deliver better feel and distance control, resulting in more putts made.”

Originally released in 2015, the first generation KM-008 was designed by legendary company founder Katsuhiro Miura. At a time when putter designs across the industry were trending toward larger profiles, Miura-san went in different direction. He designed the KM-008 to preserve the purity of the putting stroke while delivering feel and control.

The current iteration of the KM-008, the first in more than a decade, uses the same manufacturing process as the original. Every detail was considered through the lens of creating confidence on the greens and encouraging a more intuitive relationship between player and putter.

The putter features the iconic red Hanko stamp which identifies it as a Miura-san original design and also marks the end of the KM design line.

The KM-008 is milled from premium Japanese SUS303 stainless steel which has long been regarded as one of  the premier materials for high-end putter manufacturing.

Valued for its corrosion resistance, exceptional machinability, and soft acoustic feedback, SUS303 delivers a refined feel at impact and the consistency demanded in premium putter design.

The face of the KM-008 features precision milling designed to promote consistent roll, predictable speed control, and a soft yet responsive feel at impact. It is ideal for golfers who favor traditional blade putter aesthetics and the exceptional feedback and feel such aesthetics provide.

Players who prefer a clean look at address and are seeking a consistent stroke will appreciate the KM-008’s classic toe-weighted blade profile, which promotes natural stroke flow, while the 350-gram head provides added stability.

Like every Miura creation, the KM-008 is not mass produced. The result is a celebration of Miura’s heritage, craftsmanship, and enduring commitment to creating equipment without compromise.

“Every detail of the KM-008, from the head shape to the neck and hosel geometry, has been meticulously refined to create a putter that feels intuitive in the hands,” said Anthony Newville, President, Miura Golf. “The KM-008 achieves Miura-san’s goal of delivering maximum effectiveness with minimal effort.”

Each KM-008 putter head is individually weighed and balanced before leaving Miura’s factory in Japan. This is a reflection of the hands-on craftsmanship and exacting standards that have defined the Miura family for three generations.

“The KM-008 is compact, uncompromising, and reflects Miura-san’s purest vision of what a blade putter should be,” said Hoyt McGarity, CEO & President of 8AM Golf. “With his Hanko stamped into every head as a mark of authenticity and personal approval, this limited edition model is more than just a putter, its’ a piece of Miura history.”

The KM-008 has 3° Loft, 71° Lie, a Satin Nickel finish, is available with either a standard or midsize grip and retails for $1,250.
