Key retailers given immersive Växjö Experience for exclusive look at future collections

Premium high-tech golf apparel brand Galvin Green has launched the Advisory Board initiative involving 13 key retail partners from across the UK & Ireland, Europe, the U.S. and Canada.

The new initiative is designed to combine the voices of the brand’s top retail venues in different markets around the world to ensure the Swedish apparel brand can gain a more complete understanding of consumer needs, while also shaping future golf apparel collections using feedback from its leading retail partners.

The select group includes a mix of PGA Professionals and Buyers, who recently embarked on the inaugural Växjö Experience to the company headquarters for an exclusive preview and round table discussion on the upcoming 2027 collections, in-depth product meetings with the award-winning design teams, and hands-on feedback sessions.

Among the courses and retail venues represented are Royal Portrush, Trump Turnberry, Auchterlonies of St Andrews, Aberdovey Golf Club, Carl’s Golfland, Clydeway Golf Performance Centre, Ladies Online Golf, Las Colinas Golf & Country Club, Marine Drive Golf Club, Old Sandwich Golf Club, Silvermere Golf & Leisure, Trump Doonbeg, and Växjö Golf Club.

“We were keen to work closer with our best-in-class global accounts who can talk from experience about the brand and our products,” said Stewart Clare, Sales Director EMEA at Galvin Green. “The Advisory Board allows our top customers to provide invaluable insights that directly influence future collections in terms of colors, styles, fits and patterns, while also bringing them closer to the brand and deepening their understanding of the entire Galvin Green operation in Växjö,” he added.

Mairi Herald, Retail Manager at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland, valued the relationships made with the Galvin Green team and highlighted the brand’s unwavering approach to sustainability.

“As part of the Advisory Board, spending time with the Galvin Green team was highly valuable, particularly the opportunity to work with a brand in such an open and collaborative way,” said Mairi. “It gave me a clearer understanding of how high-performance golf apparel is developed, with a strong emphasis on innovation, functionality, and design.

“One of the most significant learnings for me was the authenticity of the approach to sustainability, which is clearly embedded as a core and genuine priority across the business,” she added.

Sydney Nestor, Apparel and Accessories Buyer at Carl’s Golfland in the U.S., expressed the importance of customer feedback following her visit to Galvin Green HQ.

“The opportunity to get an early look at future products provided meaningful insight into the brand’s direction and innovation pipeline,” said Nestor. “Being part of these forward-looking discussions made the experience feel both exclusive and impactful, as our feedback was clearly valued and taken into consideration,” she added.

Ian Yeatman, Head of Retail Operations at Europe’s busiest golf retail outlet Silvermere Golf & Leisure, was impressed by the step forward in next year’s product line.

“My first impression of the 2027 Part One collection was how strong the range looked,” said Ian. “A significant move forward to color palettes along with the superior Galvin Green innovation will I’m sure result in a positive reaction from consumers,” he added.
