Membership open to those living outside 200-mile radius of The Keep, includes exclusive access, preferred tee times, special invitations to signature events

LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Georgia – McLemore, the acclaimed golf club and resort destination perched atop Lookout Mountain, announces The Keep National Membership, an exclusive membership that offers access to one of America’s most anticipated new golf courses and the lively McLemore community.

Already touted as one of the best new golf courses in the country, The Keep is a Bill Bergin/Rees Jones mountaintop headlands course featuring five cliffside holes overlooking McLemore Cove that present golfers with breathtaking vantage points at every turn. Recently ranked as one of the 50 premier golf resorts in the U.S. by Golf Digest, McLemore also boasts the Highlands Course, the club’s original 18-hole championship design that sports one of the best finishing holes in all of golf, and a six-hole short course, The Cairn.

Limited to 79 members with the possibility to raise the count to 125, The Keep National Membership offers those who live outside a 200-mile radius from The Keep full access to the golf course, preferred tee times and advanced booking windows. Members also receive special invitations to signature events, unlimited practice facility access, and exclusive rates for themselves and guests on the Highlands Course. Additionally, off-the-course benefits of The Keep National Membership include exclusive rates on lodging, dining and spa services at the Cloudland at McLemore Resort and at the McLemore pro shop.

The initiation fee for The Keep National Membership is $50,000, with an annual fee of $3,000. Spouses, children, children’s spouses and grandchildren up to the age of 25 also enjoy membership privileges when accompanied by the member.

“Following the official opening of The Keep earlier this month, we are excited to offer this national membership to guests from all over to experience what has quickly become a must-visit golf and resort destination,” says The Keep Chairman Ryan Crimmins. “Just an hour south of Chattanooga and a short drive from the Atlanta metro area, The Keep is an accessible getaway for visitors from around the country, and this membership provides an opportunity to experience all that The Keep has to offer.”

In February 2024, McLemore introduced Cloudland – a marquee Curio Collection by Hilton hotel perched atop Lookout Mountain with stellar views of the surrounding North Georgia mountains. Considered the Southeast’s most anticipated hotel opening in years, the luxury resort property offers 245 guest rooms, including 21 suites and 20,000 square feet of state-of-the-art indoor meeting and event space.

At Cloudland, guests can enjoy a range of amenities, including four superb restaurants and bars. One in particular – Auld Alliance, named after the oldest alliance in the world between Scotland and France that dates back to 1295 – is the only restaurant in the United States combining the rich flavors of Scottish and French cuisine. Cloudland also features a cliff-edge infinity pool and bar as well as a full-service spa. Guests of Cloudland also have access to endless opportunities to explore Lookout Mountain and the surrounding area.

Stay and play bookings can be made by contacting the McLemore Golf Sales team via email at stayandplay@mclemoreclub.com, or visiting McLemore’s Stay-and-Play packages webpage.
