Second Michigan location drives into booming golf market, home to more than 50 courses

ATLANTA,  Georgia – PGA TOUR Superstore, the country’s leading destination for golf equipment, accessories and apparel, will up the game for Grand Rapids golfers with its first store in the area and second in Michigan.

PGA TOUR Superstore provides golfers with the latest golf equipment and accessories, along with the largest variety and selection of apparel for men, women and juniors. The store’s grand opening will tee-off on March 15 at 4100 28th Street in Kentwood.

“This is a booming golf market. With more than 50 golf courses in the area and rounds played in Michigan increasing by 6.7% last year, metro-Grand Rapids was an obvious market for us,” said Brian Hughes, Grand Rapids General Manager, PGA TOUR Superstore. “We provide golfers of all levels with the right equipment, apparel and services for them, and we look forward to becoming a valued partner in supporting this local golf community.”

The 35,000-square-foot facility features several interactive areas including an 896 square-foot indoor putting green. Club fitting and lessons are available in store from certified teaching professionals and the in-house club repair and custom club-making facility provides repairs, regripping, adjustments, and custom fittings.

For golfers looking to work on their swing, the Grand Rapids store features two STUDIO bays equipped with advanced technology for golf instruction and club fitting. Four practice bays and an additional four simulator bays offer the opportunity to play virtual rounds and test equipment.

PGA TOUR Superstore also offers several selections of in-home golf simulators ranging from entry-level mat packages up through high-end systems options including launch monitors, software package and enclosures suitable for multiple locations inside the home.

“Our new Grand Rapids location offers a unique and welcoming experience for everyone, from beginners looking to learn the basics of the game to low handicappers seeking an edge,” said Jill Spiegel, president, PGA TOUR Superstore. “Our knowledgeable staff can help people find the perfect equipment and provide personalized advice to everyone looking to experience the joy of golf.”

In addition to gearing you up for a day on the course, PGA TOUR Superstore offers everything you need for a day on the court. Whether you are a pickleball fanatic or a seasoned tennis pro, shoppers can find the right racquets, paddles, equipment and apparel for their game.

The Grand Rapids store is the second PGA TOUR Superstore in Michigan. The first opened in Novi last summer.
