Feature propriety technologies to instantly improve any grip

ORANGE COUNTY, California – Dragon Golf, manufacturer of the innovative and high performance Dragon Skin Grips, presents its new and patented line of tour proven golf grips. A collection of grips that provide improved grip stability and precise orientation for both the lead and trail hands. The result is a tangible enhancement in control and consistency.

“Dragon Skin Grips might be a burgeoning golf brand but the company with its cutting-edge grips was co-founded by Rusty Estes and myself, who when combined have over 40-years of golf product development experience and PGA TOUR involvement,” said Marcy Kamoda. “Our collective keen golf acumen engineered golf grips that perform at the highest level possible.”

Dragon Skin Grips instantly improve grip stability due to their specific proprietary technologies:

  • The Butt End Grip portion of Dragon Skin Grips feature a “convex” protrusion which conforms to the hand to provide an advanced grip connection to increase grip strength and prevent any twisting at impact. It also has a progressive ergonomic design being larger on the lead hand and regresses to a smaller size on the trail hand.
  • Dragon Skin Grips feature dragon scale shapes, designed to bite into the palm. Utilizing 3D CAD technology, each section measures precisely at 0.42mm in height at the upper portion and with 0.38mm gaps between protrusions. This trapezoidal wedge shape of each protrusion further prevents the grip from slipping and twisting through impact.
  • To improve consistency and repeatability, a large diamond design on the Dragon Skin Grips is positioned directly at the center. This serves as a reference point for the thumb and enhances feel.
  • The lower section of the Dragon Skin Grips was designed with an increased number of scales which run clockwise and counterclockwise to increase gripping power.
  • Dragon Skin Golf Grips are constructed with multiple elastomer layers and provide firmness options, Fire/Firm feeling and Clam/Standard feeling.

“We want to recognize Jucie, Inc. who contributed to the design of Dragon Skin Grips with their 3D CAD technology,” added Kamoda. “With their assistance, golfers can now reach the optimal golf grip pressure.”

Dragon Golf Grips are available in two models: Calm Dragonskin (Standard) with (Green Cap) which is ideal for golfers of all skill levels and guarantees optimal control and a trustworthy hold. Fire Dragonskin (Firm) with (Red Cap) which is the go-to golf grip for the LPGA and PGA TOUR Professionals.

Both are offered in navy and black in a selection of sizes 58 Rib, 58 Round, 60 Rib, 60 Round and retail for $17.99.
