SAN CLEMENTE, California – Shorecliffs Golf Club recently unveiled its newly improved golf course, renovated clubhouse and new 501 Restaurant & Bar. Approximately 200 loyal golfers and community members enjoyed nine holes of golf, tours, games on new golf simulators and some exciting giveaways during the Jan. 13th Grand Opening Festivities.
The golf course, clubhouse and restaurant are now open for the public to enjoy.
Shorecliffs Golf Club has undergone major renovations and improvements over the last four years. In the clubhouse, enhancements include the addition of two new indoor golf simulators, the new 501 Restaurant & Bar, a new golf shop and outdoor patio. On the golf course, renovations improved tee boxes and fairways, added drainage, installed water features and new landscaping helped beautify areas throughout the course.
“It’s an exciting time at Shorecliffs Golf Club, the improvements made to the course and club are truly amazing,” said Troon Director of Operations Justin Lake. “The entire guest experience, from the refreshed golf course to the incredible menu at the 501 Restaurant & Bar, has been elevated.”
Shorecliffs Golf Club, a spectacular golf course, is open to the public seven days a week. The eighteen-hole, par 70 course challenges golfers of all skill levels with tree-lined fairways, canyon vistas and ocean views. The temperate climate and sunny skies of the historic beach city of San Clemente, make Shorecliffs Golf Club a year-round golfer’s paradise.
Guests at the Grand Opening sampled of Shorecliffs’ refined cuisine at the new 501 Restaurant & Bar. Open for breakfast and lunch daily, the 501 Restaurant & Bar features a menu of traditional breakfast favorites including omelets, avocado toast, buttermilk pancakes as well as house specialties like the Chef’s Benedict and the Frittata Primavera.
Soon to become favorites on the lunch menu are the Steak Sandwich, The Shore Smash Burger and Mexi-Cali choices such as the Baja Fish Tacos and the Short Rib Tacos.
The 501 Restaurant & Bar is open for dinner Friday and Saturday evenings with a delicious selection of appetizers, salads and entrees including popular dishes such as Chicken Marsala, St. Louis Style Baby Back Ribs, and the NY Steak.
Shorecliff’s newly renovated clubhouse is ideal for weddings, holiday parties, celebrations of life, corporate events and more. The two new HD Golf Simulators can be rented by the hour and allow golfers the opportunity to play 44 different golf courses, including Pebble Beach, Bethpage Black and Pinehurst No. 2.
